  8. I didn't see it. I knew he was sick. Poor GD - I am so very sorry, sweetie. (((GD))) I feel just terrible for her. May he rest in peace and may she find peace and comfort in the coming days.

  11. Thanks, all. I didn't post it on my Facebook wall because not everyone in my family knew yet. My dad passed away on Saturday night at home. My brother moved in with him about three weeks ago and he had nurses coming to the house every two hours to help care for him. My aunt (my mom's sister) and uncle and cousin went and spent the day with my brother yesterday so at least they're there for him. The funeral is on Friday.

  22. Thanks all. I lost my mom almost 15 years ago, and now my dad. Though I live far from where he did and rarely saw him, we spoke on the phone and sent letters. The feeling of now having no parents is awful.
