It is time to celebrate!! Lemon cake with a lemon buttercream frosting! I actually would like to try a lemon bundt cake with a light drizzle of lemon icing! I would sing, but I don't want you to have to put in ear plugs!!

Happy "pre-birthday" Dee! How cool that you were born on Lucy's bday! Turner Classic Movies is running a full day of her movies tomorrow...she would have been 100! I'm sure if they had known it was YOUR bday too, they would have dug up some home movies of you ;)

Linda, thanks so much for mentioning the Lucy-thon that airs tomorrow...I did not know that! And as far as home movies...one of my favorites is of me, as a three year old, playing in the sandbox in our backyard in Michigan. Judging from what everyone else was wearing, it was a nice summer day...in the 70s. And my overprotective Spanish mom had this thick woolen hat on me...one of those that tie under your neck with those two big, goofy, fluffy balls. Maybe that explains why I don't like wearing hats now.
How cool is this for us lemonheads? A lemon-themed party.
