  1. It's all right for me to visit goats, KK. It would be a completely different story if YOU did! ;-)

  2. Sounds like a wonderful holiday PM...thanks for the video too, passed it along to a few to share! Goats have cool eyes, my friend R's nephew used to raise goats & show them at our State Fair! Nummy cheese is a bi-product from them too!

  3. PM, you won't even believe me, but I think of that video every time I squeegee off the glass door of our shower enclosure after a shower :) Sadly, I have yet to find a hot guy in my bathroom with a kitten... (well, sometimes the hot guy is there :) )

  4. I love goats' cheese JK. Will probably buy some at the farm. Mind you I love sheep's cheese too, KK.

Let's face it, to quote a famous TDK thread - I love cheese.

  5. The guy would have to be very sure that the kitten was a gentle, well behaved kitten. Imagine what it could do it it panicked and started to struggle ....

  6. Mmmmm cheese. Every one in a while at Sam's Club they have a vanilla goat cheese that has been rolled in blueberries. Absolutely fabulous!

  7. Oh dear....*chews fingernails*. After lurking around the litter box for hours and sticking a little bowl under Willow every time that she got in the box, I finally collected about 3cc's of urine and took them to the clinic. The dr just called me and Willow definitely has a hot bladder infection with some blood in the urine and a few crystals. He said that it is a bit worrisome because she has already had two antibiotic injections and then the one this morning, along with two anti-inflammatory doses. He is changing her to CD food (I don't really know what this is but I have sent Mr. WWM to pick it up), we will give her Amoxicillian 2x daily and we are to take her back on Thursday or Friday. If there's no improvement he wants to do an xray to rule out the presence of any stones.

Willow is only four years old and of course I am worried. Please send some of that famous TDK white light to my little girl and pray that the antibiotics kick this infection.

  10. {{{Willow}}} {{{WWM}}} Hope that the meds work quickly to make her feel better. And hope that she likes the CD food, that would help tons I think.

  12. Sending some healing white light for little Willow. Dara and Ringo send headbonks.
PM, I'm not that fussed on goat milk cheese - I love Feta but I prefer it made with cow's milk. I am put off the goat feta by the smell - my brother used to have a smelly old goat skin in his room (no idea why!) and that is all I can think of when I have goat's milk cheese!

  15. {{{Willow}}} Just an fyi - when Leela was so sick last fall, it took 3 types of antibiotics before she responded. Hopefully you will see a turnaround in the next 24-48 hrs. {{{WWM}}}

  16. My prayers are with Willow, may she be healed by her vet and may she please give a urine sample. Prayers of peace, and full restoration of health to you dear Willow, and WWM and Mr. WWM prayers of comfort and peace as it is so difficult knowing that they are sick and nursing them back to health.

  17. I am going to bed, having had a long day of hanging out at the litter box. My baby girl is no better yet - still just urinating drops at a time. We are giving her the antibiotics and she was such a good girl tonight and swallowed the drops without spitting them out. I truly am so worried about my little girl. She is our baby.

  18. Has she been able to eat anything? Poor little one. Willow please let that icky vet guy help you feel better. Prayer for Willow's restoration to health and WWM--prayer of comfort. I fear it will be a long night.

  19. PM ! Have you forsaken the sacred lamb in favour of a mere goat !
    Quelle horreur ! !
Please say you are just kidding around.
As for the French holiday the lovely cottage, the wine I envy you and DD. Enjoy yourselves and the local wines.

  21. Oh, I hope that little WIllow is okay, WWM. I know she is your baby. Many prayers being sent. Please tell us how she is doing today.

  22. Thank you, Everyone. The curious thing is that she seems fine in every other way. She's eating, drinking, playing and snuggling just like always. This morning I was lurking around the litter box because she lead me there, and I could actually see a stream of urine and it made a fair size clump in the litter. So that's a good sign!
