    I'm so sorry about Zappo, he sounds like he was a wonderful cat.

    I know that Zappo had a good full life, but I miss seeing his not-so-little tabby tail sticking out from under the plant table in the morning, and scratching his chin goodnight (he slept in a cat bed on my nightstand).

    I will try to think of him young and healthy, with strong back legs and well- fleshed flanks, waiting to stroll up to me, striped tail waving (because running would be beneath his dignity) to slobber a greeting when my time comes. And meantime pinning any of the Kitten Pack who try to play with his tail, and lounging in the sunny grass with his new friends.
