  7. Hi all!
Poor Amy have we Heard anything today yet or is it too early? X

  8. Good Morning AV. I'm alsoup too early for my own good. I'm exhausted but just didn't & couldn't sleep well last night. And when Lacy knows I'm awake, she insists on laying by me & staring at me till I pet. The whole time she's purring like a locomotive going full speed.
So,If I could get the strongest coffee you have I'll take it to the garden with a tortie kitten to help me wake up.

  10. Morning Pika and Feral!......

.... why ARE us USA-ers up so early on a Saturday?..... it's not fair!.....

Posted 9 months ago by AV #

  11. Hi Feral!! you are up super early...sorry you didn't have a good sleep.
Hi Pika! It's 7:30 am where I am at...Amy is an hour behind, so it's a bit too early yet. I hope she is resting comfortably. Poor dear.

  12. I am a morning person AV..I like to get up and enjoy the quiet for an hour or so :) Although it doesn't help that I have 2 kitty alarm clocks!

  13. I just don't know the answer. Being in California, our mornings start hours after everyone else islong gone to work or on their daily responsibilities. It's kinda fun tho to see who's up when & where when I can't sleep.

  14. I'm more of anight person but,am starting to slow down w/age. :(
The only time I enjoy being up this early is if I'm camping. I love the smell of the fresh air & sipping hot tea or coffee before any one else is up.

Well....I guess I'm going to have to ask Mr.Useless a 4th time to please get another puter keyboard. This one is shot & causing me a whole lot of frustration.

  17. Morning all. Been up since about 0500 and cleaning and organizing. Bro and BIL just took out my old bed and set up a new bed (well shortened my frame and put my daddy's old bed on it). THey are getting mom's old (which was new right before she passed) bed out of a shed and putting that in the spare room). More sorting and trashing this weekend. Sure hope to have the room ready to advertise within the next two weeks. Off till later! Glad our Amy is doing better!

  18. ....sorry I dissappeared for a while - I too am in the 'Hazeling' mode, and decided since I was up early, to get a good jump on the day!.......

*dons* hazmat suit, gloves and mask...... heading into Son's room to clean remains of 'animals' that have lived with us this summer....... call 911 if I'm not back by noon.......

  19. Morning, all. Tried to go to the gym this morning but had zero energy and gave up after 15 minutes. Came home & tried to do weights, but George was spazzing out & jumping at the weights - guess I'll have to do those at the gym as well. I did scrub out the litter box (yuk) and scrub the bathroom floor, so that counts for something, right? :)

Hope everyone has a good Saturday.

PS: Go JBBM! You're doing great! AV, we'll send out the Marines if you don't reappear soon.

  20. Hi everyone! It's been a lazy Saturday so far for me. Found some books in aunt's collection so the book I started yesterday afternoon at the pool I finished this morning. Before I start another, I must get a few housekeeping chores done - apparently Hazel isn't going to show up.

  21. I was slow to get moving this morning because of the meteor shower last night. I stayed up late trying to see some but no luck. Makes me miss being out in the country, too many lights here in town. It's so hot, and no breeze. Caring for a friends horses and I went out to her place and had to sweat it out feeding and watering them. I need to do some outside work but I am totally unmotivated right now.

  24. Hey everyone... progress is being made! Keeping fingers crossed that by next week I can place my ad. I have to figure out what to do with the stuff I need to keep (boy am I learning a lesson between needs and wants...)

Heading out before the rains come to do some errands... be back later.

Posted 9 months ago by Jetta and Boo Boo's Mom #

  25. ..... *plops* down in the Cafe, wiping sweat out of eyes!.... I'm knackered!..... I cleaned the entire house, except for Son's room - when I went in there, it was just too messy to even start cleaning!..... so I straightened things up, packed things away and organized the stuff he left. Tomorrow, with Mr. AV's help, we'll begin the 'bleaching' and disinfecting project......

.... Lainey, I hear you about wants and needs!...... I have been purging stuff for about two years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how much I don't 'need' half the stuff I have!

  26. The rain is hammering down here, trying to direct it West and South but no luck so far.

It's past midnight now, so I'm off to bed. Goodnight all. Lots of love to Amy - get well soon, my friend, and don't laugh until the stitches come out (and even then only gentle chest chuckles, not full belly laughs!).

  29. For those of us taking synthroid, was just reading and one of the tips was to take 200 mcg of selenium daily as well. Research suggests that selenium helps our bodies use thyroid supplements more effectively, cutting symptoms 63% in three months.

This is from Woman's World magazine, they do bring the tips
