  1. So once again we seem to be missing the Night Shift so let's just get the kittehs up and start the Cafe >^..^< I am in la-la land myself, haven't slept much if at all since yesterday morning and it is making itself known right abour now.

The kittehs are cleaning up the tables, the bar/serving area and sweeping the floor. One is dragging in the drink fountain, another is making sure that the ceiling fan is working right, the outside Cafe tables are even cleaned. We have a couple of the orangies in the kitchen seeing what's avail for the brekkie hours......

  3. What a scary thing to happen, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44171292/ns/health-health_care/

  4. Morning, Deb. Thanks as always for the links; loved the "kthxbai" kitty :)

George was a BRAT last night, meowing his head off and bugging me all night because Mr. K's not here. Can't imagine what it's going to be like when he goes away for 10 days next month.

Head is still evil, but I'll try to shut up about it today; don't want to be a huge bore.

  5. Morning Kilroy :) I like that kitty picture too :) George was lonely I suppose. Hope that your head behaves today, how is the weather pressure system out there today? No worries, the pressure systems always seem to bring out the worst of my headaches.

Must say that I love the avatar of George looking like that on the chair/sofa :)

  6. The weather is dramatically better today, but my head isn't.

Glad you like the silly Georgie pic; he was lying on the floor behind the futon and Mr. K stood over him with the camera to take that photo.

Uh oh, somebody wants attention - back in a bit.

  7. Evening/morning Deb & Kilroy. Just popping in briefly after a long day. I wish this cold snap would end as it causes my knees to ache badly.
Oh that cerainly is a scary water nasty Deb, we've have had something similar here in natural/thermal hot water pools and it is just second nature to keep the head out of the water when swimming now.

  8. Morning, Deb and Kilroy and evening MS, sorry about your stoopid head, Kilroy, and sorry about Georgie being a brat too :(

Ooh, you're right, MS, that sounds exactly like our meningitis-causing bugs in the hot pools here but I've never heard it called the 'brain-eating amoeba', that would scare anyone. As MS says, we have it dinged into us from kids, DON'T put your head under in a thermal pool, DON'T jump or dive in (it forces water -- and the bugs -- up your nose) and DON'T put your nose under either. I have to admit, I never swim in hot pools, I just loll around, lol

  9. Evening ladies, we were always told the same thing, no head under the water especially in hot pools.

Jan, glad that you made it home safely :)

I am leaving here in about 20 mins so I can try to get some sleep before the workers come to make lots of noise. So if I disappear thats why :)

  10. Awww, Patchess is one beautiful Persian. Like all Persians, she looks kind of grumpy though...

Posted 9 months ago by jcat #

  11. Evening Jcat, I bet it's nippy there tonight. It is here but not as nippy as it has been. We didn't even have a frost this morning despite a below 0 temperature.
I agree, we just don't swim in the hot pools, lolling is definitely the way to go.

  12. Kilroy, at least the weather will be better, now if only your head would decide to follow that trend.

Watching all these reports of *dumb* people climbing over fences near falls in places like national parks and then fall to their deaths.....what can they be thinking, that the tall fences are for their climbing pleasure or what :(

  13. Patchess is a beautiful one, and yes it seems like most Persians look a titch grumpy.

  14. Ha, ha, love the two cheeseburgers! But why would a kitty want a green thing (pickle? short cucumber? courgette?)

It is cold here today, MS, but not as freezing as it was yesterday or the day before, thank goodness. Hope Libs will come in and stay again tonight...

  15. Morning everyone!.... beautiful pics, Deb!

.... Kilroy, sorry the head is still hurting!...... at least the tutu worked, and your weather improved ;)

.... hi! Jcat and MS...... love the pics KK sent of the snow - hope you all stay warm!

  16. Believe it was a cuke that the kitty was walking off with.

It must have thundered and had lightning shows over my house for 2-3 hrs today, not a drop of rain, not even a spit....the weather is a tease here.

Posted 9 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  17. Morning AV, wish that the tutu would have worked here or rather by my house. Guess they had micro-burst storms on the other side of town that damaged power poles/lines.

  18. ... well, GD wouldn't let me finish my dance yesterday morning, so I wasn't finished!...... at least I got the clouds your way !

  19. ..... I don't like to be rushed....... LOL

  20. Chuckling at Kilroy being kind with the grumpy description.
I'm off to bed now, I can't stop yawning. Sweet dreams and have a great day. Headbonks to all furkids.

    Posted 9 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  21. Lol she just isn't seeing the BIG picture, the rest of us need wet stuff, rain, under whatever name it might come with! The clouds and darkness came for sure, chickened out on the rain bit though.

  22. G'night Jan and Jane, going to sign off now and head for home, wishing both of you a good night's sleep, stay warm and scritches to HRH, Libs, and Millie.

AV and Kilroy have a good day @ that place :)

Posted 9 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  23. Nighty-night, Deb and MS, sweet dreams and sleep well, scritches to HRH and the Crew. I am going to try to go and do some work, will keep popping in and out. Now WHY would a kitty want a cucumber, lol?

Posted 9 months ago by jcat #

  24. Night, MS! scritches to HRH!......

Deb, is the CP?? machine working for you? how is that going?

... Jcat..... in her little mind, a cucumber must be a good thing, cause her Meowmy likes them....... she wants what you want!

Posted 9 months ago by AV #

  25. Have a good night Deb!..... I'm headed to work in just a few.....

Stay warm Jcat & scritches to Libbs and Mills

  27. Did anyone mention the "T" word? AV!!!!! I just know you were tutu'ing yesterday - resulting in rainstorms all afternoon here - no satellite radio or tv in the gym for a few hours. And thunder and crazy lightning with no rain, lasting all night - it was weird weather - and I blame you!

AZ, my friend said it rained three minutes by her in AZ (near Casa Grande) - third time since she moved there a month and a half ago.

  28. Morning to all! What a rough night, didn't hardly sleep a wink. Up, down, turn left, turn right, fluff pillows, get a drink, take pain meds, etc. Then Wilma decided to sleep on my tummy, had to move her. She was not happy with me! I told her be good and lay next to me but no right back on my tummy she came. Finally I got up and went in the living room to watch tv. THEN I fell asleep for about an hour. I am going to try to sleep and rest. This healing thing is hard work!

  29. {{{MC}}} I am sorry you had such a rough night. I'm sorry that Wilma decided sleeping on your tummy was a good idea too, my Jasper used to do that whenever I had a sore tummy, I would like to think he was trying to help but I think he just liked sleeping there whenever he could. Hope you get some good sleep now and have lots of sweet, lovely dreams.

  30. Hi everyone. Awake at sparrow fart; wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to be up and functioning. Would have gotten up, but Leela was sleeping on my leg, awww.
Hey Kilroy, I hear it's going to cost an arm or a leg or a first born to cross the Hudson soon.

Oh, and I hear today is BLACK CAT APPRECIATION DAY!!!
