Morning, MC! Looks like you & AV were opening the Cafe at the exact same moment; I'll let someone else sort it out. Can I just say how much I love your avatar, such a cutie.
I'm debating whether to go to the gym; it feels pretty pointless since I stood on the scale the other day and had only lost half a pound after 3 weeks of hard cardio. Plus, you guessed it, my head hurts. It's going to hurt whether I go to the gym or not, though.

Can you imagine... I woke up this morning with all of these little welts that look like they were made by sleeping on sequins and net. WTH??????? But I rushed to the window certain that I would see rain clouds and all that was there was that $%%$@&&&&**$@#$$^$%# sun! There was an article in today's paper that we have now set a record for the most days of over 100 degree weather. I guess it's good to be famous for something :-(
We have good friends coming for dinner tonight so I'll be in the kitchen today doing a bit of cooking.

Hi everyone! I've got the usual Saturday housekeeping stuff to do today.
Hubby and I had a nice anniversary yesterday. Stayed in since it was quite stormy and enjoyed dinner courtesy of a gift card.

oh RM, the country fair sounds lovely!....... our State Fair that is held here has gotten so big, it's not even fun anymore!...... now, our Stawberry Festival..... that's more like our country fair, alto it's gotten really big too, but at least still has that 'down home' flavor........ it's a crying shame I don't like strawberries tho :)

I LOVE our county fair! It's like a high school reunion every time you go LOL I grew up doing 4-H (arts and crafts, not animals) so some of my best childhood memories are making the flower wreathes, baking desserts with my aunt, tye-dying shirts, writing shorts stories, wood working etc and then lining up under the cattle barn the first Sunday of Fair Week to have our stuff judged and then we would decorate our 4-H booths :)
AV, I'm your ally with nanners....I'm afraid we'll have to be frenemies with strawberries though! How can you not like strawberries?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!Posted 9 months ago by roxysmommy #

Moved the girls into the dorms!! I have a VERY quiet house!!
Kilroy is is half a pound less than you had!! It all adds up! It is worth it, but I sure hope you get a call to go see the doctor earlier!
AV and Joan I sure hope you both had wonderful anniversaries!! CELEBRATE!!
RM--I miss the Calhoun County Fair SOOOOO much!! I LOVED getting taffy and all the animals!! The midway was great, but I LOVED being in the barns!!
CSBM you had to microchip them a second time? Last time Bronson was out you said they were microchipped, is your vet making you chip them a second time for some reason? Glad you got them all done at once, now you can enjoy the weekend--a long one for you!!

.... *sighs*..... I can't help the anti-fruit thing, it's really more of an 'anti-anything sweet tasting' thing....... can't stand a sweet taste (ick!)
.... I really do LOVE our Strawberry festival - we've gotten some really good country bands that come now, and it's pretty nationally known....... one of my favorite times of the year!
..... can we stage an AWOL alert for Hazel, cause once again, she has failed to show up, and tho this is a 'light' cleaning weekend, I don't feel like doing it... *whines*
