  3. Hi all! We have had HORRIBLE storms here today. Huge downpours I would love to send to Texas! My power was in and out, cable/internet up and down, now it is super steamy in the house. I think the thermostat said 86F. I decided to crank on the a/c so the girls won't wilt. I miss the fair too, I loved elephant ears! YUM! Have one for me please RM. So WWM, what are you fixing for dinner tonight?

I must say that this surgery thing has been good. I have abstained from sugar, sweets, breads, simple carbs and all things bad. The doctor only wants me eating soft, pureed type foods with max nutrition as my first hernia was just on the outside of my stomach where it dumps into the small intestine. He wants me to take it easy on the intestines while they heal. I have to say it was hard the first few days but now I don't miss it and fill up on my proteins, soft veggies and soft fruits (ya know nanners, stawberries...). I also drink some protein shakes to help with wound healing. I can definitely tell when I am getting full as my tummy pushes on the surgical site just outside of it. Its been interesting to say the least.

  4. Deb...I forget where you are in AZ. Are you near the really bad dust storms in Phoenix? 60 mph winds...that's some scary stuff!

  5. MC, no I am about 90+ miles to the southeast of Phoenix, lot of wind here but not like that. 2P is up in that area though.

Ok this was posted on FB and I know that not everyone is on FB and had to share it....

    Tks Karen
So sad... Please put this on your status if you know or are related to someone who suffers from stupidity. People need to understand that stupidity is real and should be taken seriously. You could be sitting next to a stupid person right now. There is still no known cure for stupidity and sympathy does not help. Sometimes a 2x4 to the back of the head helps, but not a lot. But we can raise awareness! 53% won't re-post this because they don't know how to copy/paste... !
