Glad that they dropped the charges, the picture of him is sad though with all the bumps and bruises.

Great video, well done, it helps to explain my nephew who suffers from this. thank you so much, MS. I have shared this link to my youngest sister, who has done all she could for him, but the education system here doesn’t undertand or know how to deal with this. I have watched this 5 times and it is him. I hope if she can find a way to show this to the doctors, it may help her get help for her son. I will let you know. Thank you so much, it explains many things for us.

I watched it again and I will swear it also shows some of the things I have seen with bi-polar in my friend’s son, so now I wonder if he could have multiple syndromes going on.

Makes me kind of sad. I friend of mine has a son with AS. I babysat him for years, from when he was about 2-3 till he was 8 or so. He was such a sweet little boy but had so many problems. He’s in his early teens now and seems to be doing alright, though he’s never going to be like other kids.

GD, true of most cases, but it seems they (or at least the ones I have met/known) overcome it better than would be expected.

That’s probably true. Unfortunately this kid has had to go through a lot of other things in his young life.

I remember taking him to birthday parties, karate lessons, playgrounds etc. and he just never fit in. If he did talk, he would say strange, inappropriate things, or make up wild stories and the other kids would all think he was weird. Most of the time, he was content just playing by himself.

Oh my…. I think that my Windi has AS!

This is a wonderfully done video and really does explain the essence of AS. Actually, I bought that book. This year on my United Way visits, I visited a center that has many little AS clients. They do remarkable work – I am so proud that my small city has vast resources for parents and families to turn to for help and support.

My friend posted this video on her fb page and mentioned she has the book, too. She’s done a wonderful job with her son.
