Peeked in and didn't see a Night Shift so will have the Bombay kits pull out the champagne and bloody mary fountains, the Snowshoe kits run to the kitchen to prepare the omelette stations, french toast, pancakes, and waffles. There is BACON, ham, sausage and lox. Pasteries, bagels and cereals (my fav Frosted Flakes of course too) as well as fresh fruits, yogurts and granola are being set out. There will be prime rib, ribs, chicken, turkey, shrimp, salmon and cheese trays coming soon. Fresh salads and garden veggies are available along with fresh watermelons and garden tomatoes.

Evening Deb, I'll have champagne please and some lovely crispy bacon and bagels with a salad and then some fresh fruit.
We had a beautiful spring-like day here but I'm not fooled by it, I know we still get some really cr***y weather in Spring. I looked around my garden today and there are frost burnt plants everywhere. Ahhhhhhh the joys of winter.Posted 9 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

LOL at the goat article, I've come up against(literally) a grumpy goat and they aren't nice, and the darned thing was mine too.
Love the reader's pets pictures.

Evening Jan, had to laugh myself at the visual of the grumpy goat and the smart young ellie too. How is your knee this evening?
I know the pain of the frost bitten plants :(
And champagne and some lovely crispy bacon and bagels with a salad and then some fresh fruit will be coming right up.

Morning Deb and MS!....... love the pics ! ...... I was watching Animal Planet yesterday and they had a show about a pack of water buffalo that saved one of it's young that was attached by a group of lions...... the entire herd came to the rescue and kicked the lions and ran them off...... it was one of those amazing animal shows........
..... I can't believe 'Irene' is thinking about coming ashore in SE Fla. this weekend, I'm supposed to step on a plane Friday to Ft. Lauderdale :(
..... only a hurricane could ruin my vacation..... ! -
Good morning AV, go away Irene, I've been watching her for a couple of days now. How dare she pick this weekend to arrive, I hope she doesn't ruin your holiday. Love those shows that show the herd getting together to rescue one member.
Deb, the knee is a darn nuisance, I can't get it comfortable, won't straighten but doesn't like being bent either, grrrrrrrr. Thanks for the food, yummy indeed.
I'm having trouble keeping awake so it's off to bed for me.
Nighty night all, sweet dreams Deb and Jcat, headbonks to The Crew and Libs & Millie.
AV have a great day, see you in about 8 hours.Posted 9 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

Morning, all. I'm on vacation first part of this week, but get to spend today arranging for the exterminator to come & deal with the bug problem unleashed last week (saw something tiny & crawly on the kitchen counter this morning, ewwwwwww) and trying to schedule the MRI for my stupid hurting head. The NS is only in his office one day a week, so getting anything done is doubtful.
Sorry so grumpy :(
-
Jan, hope that you sleep well, stay warm and scritches to HRH in the morning. Also may the swelling go down, the pain go to someone else that deserves it much more and that you have a good day tomorrow.

Kilroy, morning and don't even worry about being grumpy....did you read about the grumpy goat :) Ewww on the bug problems, that guy should be sucking up really good to get on your good side after that stunt with the bike pump :( Hope that your NS staff finds an opening for you much sooner than anticipated.

Morning GD :) Believe that Irene has quite the mind of her own and didn't need anyone's tutu to bring her about.

Now, now, ladies, morning everyone. Kilroy, you are entitled to be grumpy, you do not need bugs on top of everything else, and MS, sorry about your knee, hope you sleep well and dream sweet dreams in spite of it. Can't stay long tonight, have to get up early again tomorrow to catch the train, eek. Just gonna read about the goat, lol!
GD, you're right, you would look pretty in a tutu! But I just saw the DVD of Black Swan, not sure you want to be a ballerina, they do some pretty weird things, lol (no offence, AV).
-
Gd, of course!
Evening Jane, read about the ellie too! Hope you sleep well tonight and have a safe trip tomorrow. If I miss you, stay warm and scritches to Libs and Millie in the morning.

Thanks, Deb :D Just reading now... That's a very clever young nellyphant but I don't know why people get so surprised that animals use tools. I reckon cats would too, if they could just grip with their thumbs... you should see Millie playing with cotton buds (Q-tips), she loves them more than anything else, if I want to keep her quiet, I just poke a few cotton buds down the back of the sofa, she spends happy hours digging them out and coming up with them triumphantly in her mouth (a bit of a feat considering her wobbley head). She'll also chase them all over the floor, lol. She climbed up on the bed last night with one in her mouth -- so clever for such a little wobble-bunny and boy was she pleased with herself, lol.
-
Different opinion on this end, believe that the tutu is needed until the weather pulls its head out of its behind and gives all of us nice normal weather, rain when needed and nice days otherwise.

Jane, ah ha Q-tips are wonderous things, Haje loves them and will do that too...he will find them no matter where they are. Millie sweetie, very good cutie, you did well finding those Q-tips!!! I am never surprised at what animals can do, Haje knows how to turn lights on by the wall switch and almost how to open doors with the round handles :)
