  1. I emailed you back, AV, with the number. And you don't have to come to Boca - I can meet you in Boynton, Delray, or somewhere if that works.
And I bet you're tired - not only did you push Irene away, you caused a few earthquakes, as well!

  3. YAY! I am staple and drain free!!!! Boy that feels great. The surgeon did tell me my condition was WAY more serious then he told me in the hospital. He said I was very close to "the point of no return" and that he is so glad I insisted he operate. He wanted to give my intestines a few days to "cool off". My intestines had herniated and twisted up into the stomach and were headed up my esophagus. He said had they gotten all the way up my esophagus there would have been a major blow out of my digestive tract. Most likely I would have lost most of my espohagus, all of my stomach and a large portion of my small intestines, had I lived. He said he told me what I needed to know on a "need to know" basis as not to cause me more troubles. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all your love, support, cards, ecards, prayers, white light and well wishes! If I was a cat I would be on life 6 by now!

  4. Bloody hell, MC! You really do live life on the edge and completely deserve your nickname of Miracle Kid. Glad to hear you're free of the staples and drains - must make life easier without all that hardware attached.

  6. It does KK, I feel more flexible without all that hardware. Not to mention my staples were really starting to itch. The surgeon said that because my mom was pregnant with me when her appendix ruptured (she didn't realize she was pregnant yet) that I probably have a lot of "problems". He said my development was most certainly interrupted and since I am at midlife now, many of those issues are rearing their ugly heads.
