Oh Deb!! I just saw this and I am so very sorry for your loss of Rusty and Whiskers! It must be so hard to lose not one but two furry ones within a week. Wow. I have tears forming in my eyes as I type this. My heart goes out to you. Group hugs with your zoo crew.

Good morning all! Well another day has past, the Zoo Crew, troopers that they are, are doing fine. Me on the other hand, well not so well. While I have been thru this before, it's never been like this. One nice thing though is that my "ghost kitty" visited last night in bed again. Not sure who it is as I've always felt the pitter patter of kitty feet with no kitty in my bed. I always try to imagine who it is but since I can't see them, I just don't know. It was comforting to imagine that it was either Rusty or Whiskers coming to say they are ok and love me still!

So sorry to hear this news, Deb. I know your heart must be aching and a giant sized lump in your throat, but think of the joy on the other side when Rusty and Whiskers were reunited, young and healthy, to wait in the Meadow together. With time, may the happy memories of your time together be the ones you remember most. Hugs to you and the Zoo Crew.
