  1. Comes in, turns on the sign *blink**blink* and the ceiling fans, opens the windows just a bit to get that airflow going thru the room, starts to buff the top of the bar as the kittehs of the day (Meezers today because they make the best bartendars being vocal and all) start to set out the treats for the buffet this morning......

This story reminded me so much of the TDK spirit >^..^<

  2. Evening Deb, love the links especially the wee ginger kitty and the cat playng the cap game.

  3. Evening Jan, I loved the lil ginger kitty myself :) How was the movie?

  4. It was great, it was a sort of bio movie off a Kiwi comedian/musician. It brought back so many memories of Billy T, lots of laughter but also sadness as he died only a couple of years after a heart transplant. He made us laugh at ourselves.

  5. Nice to see a good movie, sad that he died so shortly after receiving the heart transplant. Guess there were other needs for his sense of humour over the bridge.

  6. Lets just say over the bridge must have been holding their aching sides for some time now. His humour was amazing, his singing fantastic and he played an array of instruments. He was a one man entertainment unit.

  7. Morning/evening ladies! Could I have some coffee, some extra strength tylenol and some Ben-Gay, please? I'm hurting after lifting around heavy stuff yesterday while moving! I only have today and tomorrow to finish - oh boy!

  8. Lol, sometimes all we need is a one-man entertainment unit! I love good humour and with personality it makes it even better.

I am so tired this evening, seems like everytime I tried to close my eyes either the doorbell rang (neighbor's child selling cookies for school), my oldest dau called just to talk, or my friend who went to Washington, D.C. right before the storm hit called while at the airport waiting to come back to AZ. The neighbor was funny, she and her dau woke me up yesterday and I went over to her house twice today with both times neg contact because she was taking a nap with her grandbaby....just as I got to sleep this afternoon, of course she rang the doorbell again waking me up....ended up buying the cookies because I know how the schools are pressuring the students/parents to sell them. Figured it was just luck of the draw and I wasn't meant to sleep, lol.

  9. Morning GD, sliding a large cup of joe to you. Oops forgot to slide the Icy Hot along the bar too with the Extra Strength Tylenol.

  10. Oh no, Deb! The night before last, I only got 1 1/2-2 hours of sleep and I was doing alright until I took an hour nap yesterday afternoon - I woke up tired and was exhausted all afternoon and evening!
Stayed at GG's last night and managed to get 6 hours of sleep - and with a/c!

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  11. GD, I can deal with 2-3 hrs, still tired but can function....between 1-2 hrs not so much and like you will be exhausted the rest of the day and maybe the next. Glad that you got some sleep with a/c even :)

  12. Puts up hand and joins the 'Tired' club. I was going to have a lovely sleep in this morning, that is until the earthquake jolted me awake. Now I'm yawning like the Grand Canyon.
Evening/morning GD, sorry about your sore muscles.

    Posted 9 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  13. Stupid earthquake! Sorry it messed up your sleep, MS!

My sore muscles will be alright - I've been lazy lately so it actually gives me a nice feeling of having worked hard to have the muscles hurt.
The stuff I still have to move isn't as heavy as what I moved yesterday (I think) so hopefully today and tomorrow's moving will be easier on the body.

  14. Evening, everyone, sorry you're all knackered this evening. I feel guilty about being so well rested, lol. GD, my friend Glenys told me that a single girl's best friend is one of those metal upright wheeled trolleys you get at hardware stores for about $35 and she was right. I can move a freezer on one of those (if someone else lifts it onto the trolley, lol).

  15. Deb, I'm usually alright the day after not getting much sleep, it's the day after that, that I'm exhausted all day, for some reason. Or after a nap.

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  16. Jcat!!! That's not fair! Want to come help me move?

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  17. Of course, GD, there's only one problem...

Posted 9 months ago by jcat #

  18. What?

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  19. Evening Jane :) Those trolleys are great to move things, I bought one that stands upright and can be a cart type too.

Posted 9 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. What makes it harder is that I live in the back of a house so there's no driveway to my front door, only really overgrown grass.

  21. Gooooooooooood Morning everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's 8am and it's a beautiful day here in Cleveland, Ohio....I am thinking about taking the girls to the zoo today. Maddie has been over grandma's since Sunday night so I have to pick her up first...so we shall see...Abbers is still asleep :)

So I have some exciting news...well, it is for me. I am going to become a Thirty-One Consultant...I have been going to these parties a lot and decided to sell the stuff(plus I love it) and make some extra money and feel like I am not just a mom..does that make sense? Anyway, I am ordering my starter kit on Friday and then I can do parties when I get the stuff next week. I already have one person who wants me to do a party for them. It gets me out of the house and I get to be social. whoo!!!

  22. That's awesome, CM! That's be great for you. Yay!!!!!

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  23. Thank you :) Of course once I get my stuff and figure out how to get my name to the website, then I will let you guys have the link in case you get the urge to order something...lol :)

Posted 9 months ago by cricketsmama #

  24. Umm, GD, I'm about 8,000 miles away? But apart from that, I'll be right there! :D

  25. Morning everyone!....... feels really good to be home!......

.... GD, I just caught up on your situation, and the move!...... hope everything goes well for you!...... and you're right, it was HOT in Boca/Ft. Lauderdale area, and I thought I would sufficate, cause "Bob" keeps his place at 78!!........

.... MS, my Dad had one of those trolleys, and now Mr. AV and I've inherited it - I don't know how we could have done our last move without it!.... even moving piles of heavy boxes are easy with that!

.... Congratz CM, I think that's a great way to make some extra $$$$$, plus you'll enjoy yourself!

.... *waves to Jcat, Deb, and anyone else up and about!

Posted 9 months ago by AV #

  26. WHOOOOO-HOOOO, CM, good on ya! What a great idea!

That's them, MS, I had no idea they came in all those great colours. I think mine is grey :(

    Morning, AV, welcome home!

Posted 9 months ago by jcat #

  27. But, Jcat, that's what the wormhole is for!

The Chinese lady in the main house keeps the a/c at 85, AV! SO it never gets cooler than that, which is horrible - but worse when the a/c breaks and it doesn't turn on at temps higher than 85 :(

Posted 9 months ago by GD #

  28. Jcat, when you come, please bring your trolley-thing!
