    I have spent the day quilting. Yeah, doesn't everyone do that when it's 104 degrees outside. But guess what!!!! There is a "cold front" on the way and by Saturday it's only supposed to be 98 degrees!!! Might need that quilt!

    We are going out tonight. Carino's is having their monthly wine dinner.

    Mr. K is cooking a couple of steaks that have been in our freezer forever & a day; we're on a cleaning-out kick before he leaves for Germany next Tuesday (wah!). Ten days with no sweetie.

    .... Mr. AV and I are headed out to nephews and SIL B'day celebration ...... they chose 'Village Inn'..... *gags*..... I'll probably have to watch someone eat 'banana pancakes'..... ICK!...... oh well, I'm sure they serve brocclli or a salad, or something healthy!

    .... see you guys in a while!...... MC, there's always take out!!! actually Chineese appeals to me tonight......

     I picked up a soup from Panera to bring to work for dinner - their new lemon orzo chicken soup. Never had a lemony soup before, but I really liked it!

     From Panera menu: "Low-Fat Lemon Chicken Orzo
     NEW! A Mediterranean inspired soup with chicken, orzo, spinach, carrots, oregano and basil simmered in a lemon infused chicken broth and topped with a lemon wheel."

     LOL@ WWM!..... yes, I always thought of Village Inn as 'the white-hair' hangout...... who knew my 15 yr. old nephew would choose that??!!??

     ..... I managed to choke down a salad and turkey that looked like it was from cold cuts........ have you ever seen a turkey that each cut was the same size/shape???? LOL..... oh well, we're back, and looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow.......
