Kittens are so cute when they are growing so fast. When my Squint was a baby, I swear some days he got bigger while I was gone to work! Squint took a while to grow into his big feet...

I'm tired and in need of a nap. Since that won't do, I need more coffee!
Yesterday, I got up at 5:15 (ack!), hopped on the bike at 5:30, got home to Bobsky and Milo at 6:00. Left again at 6:45, got to babysitting house at 7:15. Wanted to go back to sleep, but one of the boys were up already!
Yawn! -
Miu, what kind of casserole would you like? I think tuna casserole would be wonderful!

Terri - hashbrown casserole!!!!!! Please?
Hi Miu, yes, I do it for money. It started out years ago, when I wasn't working much and needed the extra money. I started babysitting for people whenever and dog-sitting on the weekends. The dog-sitting turned into watching people's kids for a weekend here and there if they were going out of town.
I don't do much babysitting anymore, because all the kids are old enough now to stay home alone. However, by word of mouth, the dog-sitting grew and now I have 11 families I dog-sit for. Some go away for a weekend or a week once a year. Others go away atsome point once a month.
THe extra income is still nice, since I'm saving up for a car, but I've been so busy it's tough to give up a whole weekend for babysitting.
The one kid I watched this weekend is autistic and mildly retarded, so of course I pretty much had to follow him around everywhere.I don't really have to do these kinds of jobs anymore, but I have trouble saying no. The dog-sitting will be much easier once I get a car and can go back and forth to and from work, my house and the dog-sitting house.
But yes, I'm tired! I'll get over it. I'm going to try to take it easy this week. I'll either take a nap today after I get home or try to get to sleep by nine or so to see if I can catch up.

I'm trying to take care of myself and will try to rest up this week. The coming weekend I'm volunteering at the tennis tournament Saturday through Tuesday all day and late at night (will get free tickets for Boss to get time off!). I'm also volunteering all day the following Saturday. At leasst the Monday will be President's Day, so I'll get Sunday and Monday off and have two days off in a row.
