Hey peeps, I am oh so sleepy! I had one of those wake up every hour nights. And when I did sleep my dreams were so annoying! Could I dream about someone worth dreaming about? NO I had to dream that there were people who came over to my house unannounced and who wouldn't leave! Slide me a double turkish coffee and that might help get things going!

Good morning littermates! I just wanted to say my Mom is doing very well,thank you for the prayers.
Geez Joan I hope the weather lets up already,Dorie is having a hard time too with the flooding. Prayers for Texas,seems if they can build a gas pipeline they should be able to build a water pipeline or something.
And I'd love to try some Turkish coffee :) -

On another note, I have to take Miss Leela to the V-E-T this evening. (they had an afternoon apt, but nooo, I got called in to that place) She started sneezing this morning - full-blown sneezing fits. Her eyes look clear, but then her nose got the green boogers so I'm thinking URI. Might be from dampness? I've only brought a few flood items into the house. Anyway, I'll keep you posted on our girl, of course.

Hi Kilroy! *waves back* I'm supposed to be getting stuff done at work, but ughhhh, I have to keep picking other things up and dropping what I'm doing..."help me, help me" :( and stupid Microsoft..."we've downloaded an update...do you want to restart now or later?" I keep saying LATER but it keeps popping up and locking up what I'm working on!
How are you? Has Mr K left yet? is the Georgemeister being good? or not so much...

So you're "batching" it (is that even a word? being a bachelor? hmmm) Hopefully George is a good boy, altho I think you've said he's better around you when Mr K isn't around? oh, so you'll be alone on the 9-11 anniversary. that's kind of a bummer.

I'll just being working as usual on the anniv., just like I was that day (although I'll be working w/ my fingers crossed, hoping nothing bad happens). Something about a round number anniversary spooks me a bit. But then I think about the fact that if anybody tries anything, New Yorkers will kick the c**p out of them :)

.... sounds like many have had it much worse than me and my stresses.... prayers and huggs to those dealing with floods and other asundry stuff!.... *kicks* self for being a whiner......
..... I'll have a dirty martini if anyone is pouring, and I had my sequined tutu drycleaned today, so it should be ready for action this weekend..... I told them to 'iron out the kinks'........ (for you GD!)

.... that receipe looks interesting, I'll have to ponder that one..... hard for me to think of french toast with 'not sweet'.......tho I like the 'salty with cheese' aspect..... yogart (ick!).... but it might work......
