Thanks, Deb. I checked his email (he lets me do that) and he hasn't sent any emails while he's been away. Normally he at least checks in with his kids, so I don't know what's up.

AV, I am here but for just a few moments, going to jump in the shower before getting ready for *that place*. Still dragging butt tonight but feeling better than two days ago, so moving in the right direction. Enjoy your evening and hope that you have a great night's sleep.

Kilroy I know how you feel about MrK not contacting you. MrKK was just away in Europe for a conference for 5 days and didn't contact me but he is a technological peasant and was in an apartment so wasn't sure how to call home or find a PC with internet connection anywhere. I'm sure you're in MrK's thoughts everyday and he'll be in contact soon - now you've mentioned it you know it will happen!
Hi Deb. Hope you have a good evening at 'that place'. I stayed home from work today as when I got up the world was tilting to the right! I got miniKK off to school and went back to bed. Not sure what was wrong with my head but it has improved with some extra sleep. I can walk without veering to the right all the time - felt like a car with a flat tire!

Ok, who's wearing the tutu? Just had major hailstorm in Wellington and here at home - I missed the one at work but caught the one here. Looks like a bean bag exploded. The hail was huge! And it hurt when I put out my hands to catch some. Here's the link to the story about the storm.

Quick update, Mr. K called this morning. His buddy's international cellphone costs some ridiculous amount per minute, so Mr. K was hesitant to use it, even though Charley offered several times (while always mentioning the cost :) ). And he really hasn't had any time to himself to find an Internet cafe (I figured if he could do that in Cairo he could do it in Munich), so nobody had heard from him until this morning. They're fine and he's more than ready to come home.
Holy cow on the hail KK, and on the tilty feeling, not good :( Glad you're feeling better.

Kilroy, cool on the phone call!
KK, g'evening, saw that earlier on the hail in Wellington! Think I had posted the pictures of the hail a little earlier on the streets there, quite impressive if I say so with the size of the hail. Hope that the tilty feeling goes away, hate that.
Me, I am still sounding like a barking seal and coughing up the half-lung that is still left....of course still here @ that place :(

Hi, Deb, sorry to hear you're still barking like a seal. When the hail had finished in Welly, it came on over to the Wairarapa, but not quite as impressively, only bits of my garden were white, lol. Poor Miss Millie had it really hard, it was hailing and thunder and lightning right over the house at the same time as I was vacuuming (friends are coming over tomorrow). I don't think she's been in a bad thunderstorm before and certainly not a hailstorm. She needed lots of cuddles and comforting and then she slept like a log for hours -- it tires you out, being scarified!
-
Poor baby girl, all scarified and such!!! I bet, someone mentioned the calming stuff that can be put on paws, may look and see if I can find some....if I do may send it over for her so that during storms it would help or you might try the Rescue Remedy to help her deal with the noisy stuff (storms and vacuum monster stuff).

Awww, thanks Deb. I actually didn't realise how scared she was till I looked up from the vaccuuming and saw the poor baby squeezing her little self out through the door at a great rate of knots. But it was just as noisy out there in the hallway! I am used to Libs and Jasper being such immovable, calm, stoic little objects. I had the front door open and Libs was sitting on her chair on the verandah through the whole thing and I don't even think she was watching the rain, which she likes to do sometimes, she was snoozing!

Oh I understand about the scary things, B was the only one who never was afraid of storms. The crew now has been really spooked by the amount of thunder we have had lately, and the evil vacuum monster just makes their hearts race.

Lol, sure way to wake everyone up and clear the room is to bring the vacuum out of the bedroom not even turning it on, woo hoo when it comes to life!
I am so ready to go home, this flu nonsense sucks Monkey Toes for sure and I am ready for a hot bath and try that sleeping thing I keep hearing about.
