Evening all!....... I HAVE A THREE DAY WEEKEND!!!!..... I decided to take the entire day off tomorrow (because i CAN).... so I'll be able to sleep kinda late, do some needed/wanted cleaning, and then make my dishes for tomorrow's scallop dinner!.... they ended up with about 350 count, which is plenty for a nice dinner of four - I'm vassling between scallop linguini, and pan-seared over polenta......... I think my side will be a caprise salad with fresh motz and heirlooms, or Ina Gartners zuccini casserole ( respectively, depending on which entree selection I go with ) ........ I'll serve some fresh grated garlic & butter bread, and finish with a key lime pie for dessert.......
.... are ya hungry yet???????? LOL

Hello AV if you are still here. Sorry I missed your birthday the other day.
Your food sounds delish. I'll have to check out that zucchini casserole recipe. I made soup the other night with chicken broth, cannelini beans, yams, zucchini, carrots, celery, onions and fresh parsley. My, was it ever yummy! This is definately soup weather. Brrrr....

...... MIL has a super simple key lime pie receipe that is a frozen pie, that has like 4 'keep it simple stupid' ingredients, and a first grader can't mess up...... I've made it 100 times, and it always turns out good!..... even daughter could make it from the time she was about, oh - 10!.... anyway, it's a fool proof dessert for a non-sweet, non-baker, don't even have a clue dessert maker like me!

I did move recently - or rather WE did. We moved in with XBF temporarily while looking for a new place to live. The old one had no working a/c and the shower only had scalding hot water.
GG's friend is going to help me find a place and we hope he can take us to see some this weekend or at least early next week. I won't have time to move in anywhere by the 1st since I have a big bike event that weekend, so I'm shooting for mid-month, which will also get one more paycheck under my belt. When I had bedbugs a couple of years ago, I had to throw out all my furniture so I really didn't have much to take with me during this move, especially since I was in a studio. I'm now looking for a 1/1 with some outdoor space for the boys. Anyway, one more paycheck before moving will allow me some furniture shopping!
And how are you doing? It's been too long! -
