Kitties are rushing into the cafe from the downpour of rain outside. They all look so cute in their little yellow rain slickers and rain boots. Kittens are running around and shaking all the water off their fur onto the floor. A wise mama meezer is not happy with them. They go to curl up in a basket by the fire (for those of us who are cool outside). Windows and fans are going for our friends who are in hot climates. The cooks are firing up the grills and ovens to make a full country breakfast for a start to the workweek. Your wish is their command. There are orangies curled up on chairs by the doors to greet you. Kittens are looking for scritches and laps to sit on. Feel free to help yourself to some love.
I am back to work today for the first time in 6 weeks. I am nervous and worried at the same time. So much has changed since I left, people have quit, and I really don't have a boss right now. Should be interesting to say the least. I did talk with a co-worker yesterday and said I will do what I can but if I get worn out or in pain, I will be going home early. She totally understood. Thank goodness! My girls are being overly dramatic today because I think they know what is going on. They are throwing themselves on the floor and whining and crying and moping.....at least they have each other to snuggle with. Have a great Monday everyone!
