SNOW, SNOW, SNOW Storm!

  1. Just wondering if anyone else is getting dumped on like us. We are supposed to get between 13 and 15 inches of snow AND possibly 20 inches! WOW...no work for me tomorrow either. Heaven is crying for my Roo...big fluffy white tears!

  4. We got 8 here in my part of colorado last night. I was very sorry to hear about your Roo, opens the flood gates. :tears: Reminds me of losing my Doodle last March.

  5. Awww..that's it CR ..big fluffy white tears...{{{HUGS}}} wow 13-20 inches..I hope you are well stocked up with all the important items, plenty of blankets...It's wonderful you get to stay home another day...you need it..

  7. Yikes! I was complaining about the 6-8 inches we are expecting tomorrow. I just wish we could have some sunshine... just a little would be nice.

  11. Im with you Huddy's Mama. I wish just once we could have a snow day here in Houston! Last time we had snow here was 3 years ago on Christmas eve. It remains to this day my only "white Christmas" :(

  13. Me and my best friend here in Htown were just talking about that, angel. It was one of the best Christmas Eve's and Christmas days I've had in sooo long. Even though I grew up with the snow, I think that was the first time I ever remembered is snowing here during December. It WAS beautiful though.

    Yeah, bullpucky -- it's one of my made-up words, GD. It's just dirty enough so that you get the message, yet clean enough to be inoffensive to the most sensitive of ears. lol

  17. I wish that we would get some snow... or rain.... or anything other than large chunks of Oklahoma flying overhead :-( Dry wouldn't even begin to describe the state of affairs here. If this is winter and the dust storms have already started, I may go stark raving mad when spring arrives!

    CatRancher - I'm so glad that you have the clean, bright snow to look at today. I wish that I could "zap" a nice bottle of wine to you, though. I wonder if Roo has seen my sweet Bombalurina yet? She's the beautiful black one with the gorgeous eyes.

  22. ....don't tell anyone but I thoroughly enjoyed the north and snow days when we lived there ... before we came to paradise. Good excuse to bake something crazy, loll around in front of the fire, read ... ummmmm, nice memories!

  25. CR I'm so glad you get to stay home today..and you have beautiful snow to look at...I can look up at the local mountains and it looks pretty deep up there, but I haven't been in a good snow storm for about 20 years now..
