  8. How sad for Casey to be dumped at a shelter @ 17 yrs old because he had too much cat hair!

    The Grannies
Oh noes. This lovely 17-year-old ginger boy is so sad he is CRYING. He is in the Philadelphia and was dumped after 17 years because of - you got it - too much cat hair. Never heard that one before and now twice in two days. Pull and transport can be arranged. Purrrrrrrrrr ♥ Juliet
Urgent Cats at the shelter NOW
    CASEY (A14138289) *Super Sweet Senior*
Casey spent 17 years in one home, with one family. What could have happened for him to end up here? Apparently, his family grew tired of ‘too much cat hair’ and left this sweet senior boy at the shelter. One can just imagine how sad and confusing all this must be for Casey. Casey lies stoically in his cat cube, watching the world go by. Other cats get attention due to their loud mew, or rubbing against the front of their cages. But one should not pass Casey by. He first draws you in with his classically handsome good looks-the always popular orange tabby coloring, with just a touch of white. His warm, golden eyes reveal his sadness, but also his true self-a sweet, loving boy. Although does not solicit attention, as soon a hand was extended towards him, Casey leaned his head in, enjoying the gentle petting. He closed his eyes, and began to relax, comforted by the affection he was so used to receiving. From his owner’s description, Casey sounds like the perfect cat. He loves people of all ages, including children, and still enjoys playing. He is always the perfect gentlemen, always using his litter box and displaying good manners. Casey is not the independent type-he loves being around his family all the time, enjoys being held and loves to sit on laps. This is one male whose not afraid to show his emotions! And he’s certainly not afraid of commitment either! What he needs now is a family that will be committed to him, for the rest of his days. To make matters worse, Casey is now dealing with a cold. This brave boy needs to get out of the shelter; please help make that happen for this sweet senior!
