  1. Tessie is home and glad to be here. Still not sure what is wrong with her. Based on blood tests and symptoms she could possibly have pancreatitis, an inflamed digestive system or lymphonia. Steroids are what is given for all three so she is on a dose of steroids if it is the first thing she will be alright afterwards. For the next two the symptoms will come back and then she will be on them for the rest of her life. If it is lymphonia it will be a shorter life. If she doesn't respond to steroids and the antibiotics I don't know what it might be. Several things were ruled out so thats a start.

  3. That's a good start, Sandi. I'm glad you were able to bring Tessie home. She will be much less stressed while the steroids do their work. The TDK healing white light is being sent her way.

  10. Elaine, she was vomiting a lot and really hard sometimes. She stopped eating and doing her usual routine. She never quit drinking but was dehydrated. She got lethargic. She is still not feeling well but better--she is doing some of her normal activities but is tired and not eating much yet.

  12. Sandi, glad to hear Tessie is home. I hope her health problems straighten out with time. It's hard when so much is guesswork, wait n' see with different meds and treatments. I pray she remains strong and her health improves. {{{Hugs}}}

  14. Thanks everybody, she seems much better today than yesterday. A little more demanding and more energy. Getting two pills down her is a challenge--the first isn't too bad and but the second is hard. I may lose all my fingers--I tried pill pockets and she said no way
