Morning~! Me and the girls can't sleep so I am up early and riding the exercise bike. I can't believe its back to work already. Wow! Already on week two of back to work and it seems like I never left. Tired, stressed, can't sleep, same old same old. The Tuxies are yawning and stretching, getting the coffee brewing. They are putting in a call to Cracker Barrel and to the local bakery for sweets/pasteries. Mama Tuxie is cutting up fresh fruit for the breakfast bar and there is a basket of Tuxie kittens being placed by the door for your morning "kitten fix". I am gonna go take a bubble bath and get ready to face the day. Work is sooooo slow that I think its not worth the two hours I go into work. Oh well, I think I might hit the pavement today and see if ANYONE is hiring for ANYTHING so that I can make some extra cash. Not sure how well that is gonna go in this economy but I will try. Hope everyone has a great start to their week. New Zealand, sleep tight!

I am here, frustrated with poor co-workers who have sh*%-for-brains attitudes about what they are expected to do here. I could just about scream tonight, annoyed isn't even a good word for it.....

No, don't ask about the apartment hunt! Arrrgh! I think I only have 2 weeks to find a place. I did see one practically across the street from work. The building isn't that nice, but it's a one bedroom/one bath/kitchen, it's affordable and it would save me $200 a month in gas to live so close to work. I don't love it and it doesn't have an outdoor space for the boys, but it may have to do. I feel so guilty when I see how the boys love the patio at XBF's - I really would like to at least get them a patio :(

How long do you have to sign a lease for, GD? If you only had to give a couple of weeks' notice, then you could go for that flat if you don't find anything else and save some money while you keep looking. Though moving twice isn't ideal... although if you don't have much furniture from the bedbugs episode...
It would unsettle the boys though, I can see that.

Morning friends!........ just got back from my walk..... I've commited to walking 30 min. every morning..... really seems to be helping with my back issues.......
...... where have our red-heads been lately?..... I saw KK post briefly yesterday, but haven't seen MS lately....... she must be busy ushering in Spring!...........
...... as we usher in Fall...... it was another cool/crisp morning, really didn't mind exercising at all in this kind of weather! GD, did the coolness every make it down your way?

WOW it's busy this morning!
Had lovey kitties all weekend long! Luna wanted me to play fetch with her all weekend! I did indulge her quite a lot (lol) I lost track after counting 24 throws of the sparkly ball...and she was still going strong.
AND...I got more done on that teensy tiny embroidery! I can't get good pictures with my little camera, I need Big Momma(tm) to take the detail photos. I've finished with the dragon, the wreath, and the crown. Now I'm starting to fill in the background colors.
I had never tried putting the paper pattern right down on the fabric and embroidering through it. I learned a lot. I only embroidered the basic outlines and major shapes before removing the paper, but at first I got too detailed and then had tiny fragments of paper fibers stuck under the threads. Teasing out the paper fibers made the cotton fibers in the floss fuzz out.
So...being somewhat anal and OCD, I painstakingly ripped out all the original outline stitches and replaced them with much better quality stitches, and I was able to remove a lot more paper fragments. I think I can say they are ALL gone now.
