  7. On another kitty site there was a pretty tortie that looked A LOT like yesterday's kitten. The pictures were different, but it sure looked like the same kitten, a bit older in one of the pics, eyes different color, and the lighting was different, but the markings were strikingly similar. I haven't had the pleasure of being owned by a tortie; I assumed their markings are quite unique.

  11. Evening all, may I have a margarita please? Just popping in briefly. Been a beautiful sunny day here which is good for the salvage operations of the stranded ship. We went to the beach to look out at the ship. Came home and planted beetroot(beets),radish and butter beans.
Just about to cook dinner and relax.
Dee, that spiced pumpkin latte looks great, could do with one later this evening.

  12. Doesn't it? And it's so easy, too. Is is chilly over there, MS?

Posted 7 months ago by Dee #

  13. Not chilly, brisk would be my description. We're not lighting the fire anymore but the evenings are still not that warm so the pumpkin latte would be very welcome. We're on Daylight Saving time now so the evenings are light and longish.
Off to cook chicken schnitzel, fried rice and garlic bread and vegetables. Back later on the Night Shift.

  14. Evening Jan, ohhhhh love schnitzel, fried rice and garlic bread.....enjoy your dinner.

The latest I have seen on the ship caught up on the reef in the bay area where MS lives....

when we were at the beach today it was idyllic until you lift your eyes to the bump on the horizon. There were groups of official people out checking the beach for any washed up oil or oiled seabirds. People wee still out fishing, surfing, kite surfing, bodyboarding and collecting shellfish.
Awwwwww, Garth reminds me of our late Sharp.

  18. Garth is an awfully handsome kitty :)

Sometimes I really, really don't like my Mondays....seems that they want to talk to make up for the two days I was off...lol!

  19. Oh dear, you have 'chatty cathys' tonight Deb. Grrrrrrrrrr
What a wonderful looking mountain lion, love the almost smile on it's face.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  20. Jan, and he was *purring* too :) They were showing on the local news Thursday night where there were two mountain lions lying in someone's front yard just relaxing and chilling out. Yes I do have CC's tonight, joy joy.

  21. I've got the opposite, just me watching TV and keeping an eye on the England v France score from the quarterfinals of the Rugby World Cup. France are leading at the moment and I'm not happy as I had England picked to win. Airy is upstairs on her puter and HRH Shadz is curled up asleep in 'her' room.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  22. Jan, at least HRH Shadz is in Airy's room, so perhaps she won't be hogging your side of the bed this evening :)

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  23. Fingers crossed Deb, but she has been sneaking in after I've gone to sleep and snuggling up to me.
LOL, the 'do not disturb' kitty looks like Mum's Snuggy when we went out today. We didn't even have the car backed out and Snugs was in the sun on her back on the hot cobblestones with her feet in the air.
I see Tonga has had a 6.0 quake and hour or so ago and Christchurch has been wobbly today with a 4.8 & 4.1 and several a bit lower.

  24. Well, speak of the furry angel and she comes thumping downstairs and demands supper then heads outside. Hopefully she'll be wanting back inside soon so I can go to bed.
So far tonight we're 0 for 2 on our rugby picks. France beat England and Wales beat Ireland. We'd better be right that NZ will beat Argentina tomorrow and we picked South Africa to beat Australia too.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  25. Sorry to hear that your picks have lost so far. Have to laugh at the furry angel thumping thru the room and demanding her supper, sounds like Kitty lately :) He has taken to cleaning everyone's plates as B used to do, bless her little heart.

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  26. The furry angel has come back in, dined on biscuits and after walking across the laptop she has headed back upstairs. Looks like we're settling down for the night.
Oh dear lord, I just heard a thumping and running of four feet on the ceiling above me, Airy informs me that Shadz is wired but settling down on 'her' bed. A good a time . . no, I'm wrong, there was another rumbling and thumping of four furry feet along the hall. It could be a long night here.
I'll say nighty night Deb, I hope your shift ends soon and the CC's quieten down for the last part. Sweet dreams and chin scritches to The Crew, especially Kitty.
