  3. Deb, I've probably missed you, but in answer to your question from the NS, I'm not sure the fridge repair was a success. Mr. K called the repair guy yesterday and he said he'd be there between 2-3pm, but he never showed up and never called - argh!! What is with people??

    On a much happier note, Mr. K got in touch with the dermatologist this morning, and while they're not entirely sure what the thing on the side of his nose was, they're sure of what it wasn't, which is melanoma, thank heavens. He does still have to go have more of it cut out, which he's not thrilled about, but better safe than sorry. I love my Mr. K and would like to keep him around for a while (say another 40-50 years :) )

  8. Yay for Mr K's good news!!!

    Guess what! I think I finally found a place to live!!! I saw it this morning and liked it much better than the other places I've seen. Yesterday the place I saw wanted an outrageous $3400 in move-in money. Today's place wanted $1300! It's only a bit over four miles from work and it's the back unit of a triplex - a 1/1 and 1000 sq feet. The other 1/1s I've seen have all been between 650-800 sq feet for the same price. And it has a backyard for the boys! Crossing my fingers that everything goes according to plan and I can move in there next Friday! Please, please, please cross yours, too - I really, really need this!

  11. Congrats GD! Fingers and paws crossed for you here too! When I get home I will make sure that 44 more paws get crossed. Wish ME luck on that one LOL!

    The new boys are doing very well, I can't wait till I get some pics to introduce you to "da boys". Marty and I are still doing awesome, its his birthday today so lots of fun instore for later when he gets out of work!

    And thanks for all the crossed fingers - and paws. I wanted to wait as long as I could to move out of XBF's to save up a bit more money, but I also wanted to be in somewhere before Halloween so I have a place to decorate :)

    Forgot to mention - the place is only about 2 miles from GG's house!

  19. Hello all. Late to the party, as usual. :) First I want to say what a pleasure it was to meet, in person, Kilroy and Mr Kilroy !! We had an awesome time at dinner. They are both absolutely lovely people.

    Other than that -- I got nuthin' ... just dropping in to say hi. Work has been busy busy busy.
