  1. Welcome to the 100% real, no added chemicals, salt free sugar free & colour free Night Shift.
The fountains are flowing with whatever takes your fancy and the table are set with all kinds of food. Soups and fresh hot bread and pastries for those just going into Fall(Autumn) and there are salads and fresh hot bread and pastries for those in warmer climes. These inbetween seasons are so changeable and difficult to cater for.
Another day of not much happening on the ship salvage due to weather conditions but some oil is still washing up on beaches.

  2. Good middle of the night, MS! I'm just stopping by on my way to "tap a kidney" and then back to bed. So sad about that oil spill, but those penguins are darling in the their little knitted PJ's! Hope that helps them.

    Goodnight!

  7. Woke up tonight 5 mins before I was due here for duty, argh haven't done that in quite a long time.....so made it in about 45 mins late, had to stop and feed the feral kitties since it was my night to do so. Good thing is that its my Friday and maybe, perhaps I can get some quality rest on this break.

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  8. Evening/morning Deb. You SLEPT ! ! That's great. Would have been better if it hadn't coincided with needing to be at work though. Awwwww, those kitties are so lucky to have you and the others feed them. Yay, Friday.

  9. Great links, love the "where's my fish" and all the kitty pictures are adorable. Will watch the bear vid later.
Deb, I see you have the muddled scrambled egg brain thingy going on, it's happening here too. I had it yesterday and KK was complaining of it today. Maybe it the change of season doing it. Unsettled weather and changeable temperatures.

  10. Yeah the little bear cub and the pelican was too cute, can't watch the bear cub video here but saw it on Fox News and it was funny.

I think that the weather fairies are screwing with our brains and I am sticking by that story.

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  11. LOL, weather fairies. I like that. I'm sticking to that story too, it sounds good.
we've had another day of showers and sunshine and it was too rough for any ship work on the reef sadly. More oil and debris have washed up on beautiful beaches and in excellent fishing areas. Check the links I left at the beginning of the NS. The penguins in PJ's are so cute.
Awwwwwwwwwww, just watched the bear video, so small and all alone.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  12. The penguins in PJ's are really cute! I know the bear cub was cute on tv :)

Sucks about the oil and crud coming up on the beaches and screwing up the waters :(

  13. Evening, ladies, I should be proofreading but somehow I don't think I'd be picking up any mistakes... scrambled brain here too right now, but I think in my case it's the wrong time of the month.... Plus I forgot to get some meat out for the buggerlugses in time for it to thaw so I am in the goggie house with both of them and now it nearly has thawed I see it's veal which Libs will probably refuse to eat...

  14. That one is good Deb, fair's fair. Please excuse me for not trying it though, there are too many pars of my body I could not reach.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  15. Evening Jane, awww poor babies and not getting their noms in time....wish mine would eat any of it but I have tried a couple of different times without success. So scrambled minds are a common thing this evening/week, at least we are all in good company :)

Jan, I won't be trying that either, that hairball thing would just beat me up.

  16. Awww, I don't need a bath, Millie licks me clean...lol.

Posted 7 months ago by jcat #

  17. See I didn't think of that, Lil Girl tries to lick the skin off of my arms, she love them or thinks I need help ;P

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  18. See, you don't need a bath either, Deb, lol.

I hope GD's boys are all right and XBF and everyone in the path of the Florida tornado.

Posted 7 months ago by jcat #

  19. Hope that they are doing ok too.

Just watching the animals loose in Ohio on tv but haven't found the article yet on it.

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44953925/ns/us_news-crime_and_courts/

The Sheriffs Office had officers shooting animals on sight :(

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. Evening Jcat, my how clean you look! I'm guessing that GD's boys and XBF are fine or we would have heard something by now.

    Posted 7 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  21. Oh, Deb, how awful. Here is one story from here:
    http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/5817626/Lions-tigers-escape-US-preserve-owner-dead

Hmmm, I thought the water shots looked like Wellington but I wasn't sure. Looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so. Forget the pix of Miranda Kerr in jeans, get a load of Welly, lol!

Although don't actually think much of the photos themselves, bit blurry....

  22. I have been watching a doco on TV called Fatal Attraction, about ordinary people who keep wild animals in the 'burbs or in human areas. Many of them have been killed by their animals. I am sure they honestly love their animals but wild animals are meant to be wild, I can't bear to think of them being caged, it's just wrong. You can make some argument for modern zoos, for breeding purposes of endangered species, but not for people who just fancy keeping lions and tigers in their back yard :(. It's always the animals who suffer in the end and they had no choice.

Posted 7 months ago by jcat #

  23. From reading the short article here, it looks like the owner opened all the animals' cage doors. And some of the animals were just standing by their cages and were still shot :(

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. I agree, places like San Diego Zoo and such are decent for the environment and keeping the breeds bloodlines. Those kept in residential homes/neighborhoods are not a good thing.

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  25. Sorry for disappearing, Airy borrowed my puter.
Sad about the animals being shot.
Time for me to head to bed, I have an early morning tomorrow.

Posted 7 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #
