Hi, Bobbi. I'm sorry about your daughter. I hope she finds an even better position.
I'm about to leave for Ash Wednesday service at my church. I don't usually participate, but my pastor, who's been at the church for 26 years (I've been there for 18) is retiring at the end of May. I have a very strong sense of everything that happens being the last time he'll be there for it, so I'm going to let him "smudge" me tonight.

She worked for animal control in Grand Prairie (suburb of Dallas). Had a fender bender in the dog truck, and since she was still on probabation.............
They cut HER off!

Sorry to hear that Bobbi. Hope your daughter can find another job - maybe a better one.
I am having major nap attack here. I just want to put my head down and take a nap. I got about 6 hours of sleep last night and really need my 8-9 hours. It is early to bed tonight..that is if Mia is calmer tonight.
I forgot to mention, poor Mia was playing with the feather on the wand and she did her jump in the air and ended up bouncing hard against the sliding glass door. I was concerned she had injured herself as she was very quiet after that and went and sat on one of the chairs. I checked her back legs and they seemed okay. After about 20 minutes went by, she was back to playing again. Poor Mia!

Thanks Karin. I have seen my guys slam into doors, walls, etc., shake their heads, look around as if to say "I meant to do that", then tear off down the hall like nothing happened.
Worse than kids......

Hi Bobbi,sorry to hear about your daughter's job loss,it's an employers market right now and they aren't at all forgiving of anything as I can tell you. I apllied to a job today,cross your fingers please and I hope she can get another job quickly.

Good luck Marsha. Crossing fingers and toes that you get the job you want. It is becoming more of an employers market. I have noticed the postings on Craigslist are not as many as they were only just six months ago. I think even the temp jobs are now starting to be affected as well.
