HALLOWEEN FRIDAY IN OCTOBER TDK CAFE

Special black kit crew have decided to start the festivities early in order to party thru the weekend to Moanday the 31st! Weee, the little black booties are scurrying aroung with orange & black streamers while the big boy BJ's (black jacks) are assisting with festooning to the higher areas! Beauty queens and darling diva's are arranging the other decorations while the kit crew are preparing your fave noms & brews! Come on in start this fun end to October in a festive way. Me, need a very large cuppa strong brew as java and a gooey cinny bun to go! Paw up waves to anyone who walks, stalks, saunters or strolls in...now a smooch for Tux who has his blinking orange and black bow tie on...later!

Good morning!!! Where is everyone???
It was COLD overnight! Had frost on my car and on the deck. Very frosty and slippy! TOO early for this stuff and now tomorrow a winter storm warning! OH, NO! At least for now, it is a lovely, sunny, clear blue sky kinda day. :)
I'm watching QVC as they have all the Christmas goodies on now. :) Love seeing all the different items they offer.

Last day on old system here today...Moanday after end of month starts new system, not sure how much fun 'puter time I'll have for awhile while we get out the glitches. Planning on at least checking in to TDK during lunchin' time for sure but we shall see...ok, baaack to my desk... -

Hi all! I'm super busy too. Worked this morning, went shopping for cupcake mix and tin, cleaned the apartment, went and met a new dog-sitting client. Now baking cupcakes for a fundraiser at work tomorrow, then walking dogs, going to work, buying pumpkins and then carving with GG tonight. Phew!
The client I met with today paid me in advance for next week, so looks like I can buy a few furnishings this weekend! Yay!

Hi everyone. I think I'm going to be ok. Presented a lot of work in the most positive way I could. There will still be management/worker style differences that will always keep me on edge, but this is a biggie that is just about over.
Sio, have fun throwing stuff at Rocky Horror! And GD, reading your schedule wears me out too! Carving pumpkins is going to be fun (hmmm, maybe I will see if the garden center has any good pumpkins left)
Well kids, looks like snow is headed this way, and they're serious about it. Planning on brewing something in the crockpot and maybe make some cookies and perhaps get hubby to carve pumpkins!

Afternoon friends!.......... raining here (drizzley all day), anticipating a cold front tonight......... nice night for snuggling with Abby and Mr. AV and eating homemade pizza.......... ;)
........ taking Monday off, just because I can!...... got tons of accrued vaca hours, and besides it's Halloween, and the office will be sparse anyway!
....... hope everyone has a fun Halloween weekend! I'm looking forward to just resting!

Hi all - I've made it throught most of my day! We close an hour early on Fridays, at 8:00, so I'll be out of here in half an hour. I'm looking forward to pumpkin carving! Today was crazy busy, even for me!
The new client I met today took up the free weekend I thought I was going to have next weekend, so now I'm hoping for a free weekend on the 19-20th of November (though I do work half-day on the 19th). -
Enjoy the evening GD! I picked up a trio of small pumpkins. Slim pickins - because of the crazy summer there are no acorns so the critters are going after everything else. Most the pumpins that were left was chewed or outright gutted. Might be too small to carve but I might take a Sharpie to them and copy a couple of those stencils.
So I'm sitting by the fire, sipping fresh hot cider. So is Leela, but she's skipping the cider. An adult beverage sounds like it is in order, though...Posted 7 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

.....must be that 'age' thingy ......... or perhaps the fact that I fell asleep last night in my chair at 8 pm watching TV with Mr. AV (LOL, the truth come out!)

....... I really get annoyed with myself, my head makes all these plans to rest and sleep late.......... but my 'body clock' doesn't cooperate.........apparently didn't 'get the memo'......... *sighs*
....... oh well, maybe I can talk myself into a nap later! ......... after of course, I wear myself out playing Hazel!........ guess that's who I'll be for Halloween............... scary thought, that!
