  2. ..... interesting!....... if only I could learn those 'secrets'.... then I could make my billion, and we'd have our world-wide TDK meet up!.....

..... I'll get right on that................

  3. Georgie is just being totally quiet & not wanting to eat or drink anything. I'm sure it's the pain patch, which isn't supposed to come off until Monday. I don't want him to hurt, but I want him to eat.

  4. C'mon Georgie eat just a little bit if nothing else for your Meowma so she doesn't worry about you.

  5. .... yes, Georgie..... just a bite or two........please......

  6. Plus our fridge is broken so who knows if the Clavamox is OK, and he manages to get more of it on him than in him. *sigh* Can you tell I'm a teensy bit stressed out?

  7. You have liquid Clavamox? I always get the pills and then crush them to put in their food. Now that he isn't eating though that wouldn't help you much.

  8. do you have a syringe that you can squirt it in his mouth a little at a time? at least with the liquid kind, it will give him some moisture in his system.....

  9. The Clavamox is liquid, that's what the vet gave us, and yes we're giving it to him with a syringe, he's just really good at twisting his head around just as I push the plunger so it gets on his face, and on me, and on Mr. K, instead of going down his throat. He gets some of it but not all & I wouldn't even hazard a guess of how much extra to give him to make up for the spillage. We had Clavamox pills the last time & he was good about eating all his food, but now it would be useless because he doesn't want to eat.

We have a week from when I'm taking the pain patch off tomorrow until his recheck appt, so I'm hoping he'll eat well for that week & be OK.

  10. You might be able to put a tiny bit into wet food too and mix really well, maybe he will eat it.

  11. my guess is he'll perk up and eat, once the pain patch is gone.......... making him so dopey, he probably doesn't feel like eating......... (((Georgie))))

  12. Georgie says thank you for all the good suggestions (and so does his mom). I just put a little wet food with some treats on top down by where he's hiding in Mr. K's closet; he just stared at me :(

Stupid patch is coming off tomorrow. I know, not stupid, I don't want him to hurt, but yikes.

  13. Poor baby, he has no clue what he is supposed to do {{{Georgie}}}

  14. ....... just put a pie shell in the oven to bake off......... I'm going to make a meyer lemon 'shaker' pie later today........... Mr. AV loves pie!

  15. Have to run, will be back when I get home....have a good day!

  16. FYI, I've reported the weird poster with the "beauty" tips.

Posted 7 months ago by Kilroy #

  17. I'm running out for a while too...... must go get a meyer lemon for the pie!..... see you guys later........ thanks Kilroy...... don't know why people try to 'invade' our little family...... don't they have something better to do...... *unfluffy thoughts*.....

  18. Hi everyone. Thanks for reporting that Kilroy; I looked at it and went "huh?" You have a balcony, right? Can you put the clavamox outside? (and anything else you want to stay cold, for that matter) Just make sure it's in something heavy enough so it doesn't blow away.
I'm going to see how the caturday cafe kitties are doing...

  19. Oh, that's a good idea Joan. It's probably colder on the balcony than it is in our fridge right now. We're heading off to shop for a new fridge today (should have done it a month ago), but for now that will probably help. Thank you.

  20. Sorry about George feeling so rotton Kilroy :-/ Just got up and gotta get to cooking shortly for the party tonight :) slept in because we were up until two because of a party last night but I won a costume contest, tied for first place and ry got second place in the top three costumes. He won a set of computer speakers and I won a gaming mouse :) Going to make cornbread and beef stew and some green punch for tonight over the course of the day :D My anniversery is tomorrow so we get to eat our anniversary cake too.

  21. Good morning, all! I carved pumpkins till 1:00am and got up at 6:00 to walk dogs before work. AV did a heck of a job with the weather - insane rain last night! GG's pool overflowed and when I went out to get something in my car, I found myself standing in over a foot of water. The whole street was flooded. It looked much better this morning, but some streets were closed off because they're under water.

Working till one today, walking dogs, going to the apartment with XBF for a couple of hours, walking more dogs, going furniture shopping, walking more dogs, and passing out :)

  22. By the way, I love the liquid clavamox! Bobby sucks it right out obthe dropper, and though Mi doesn't like it, I never have much trouble giving it to him. Kilroy, try (if you aren't already) sticking the dropper in the very side of his mouth - you don't even have to deal with opening his mouth, just push the dropper in there.
