  1. I don't remember significant snow in October; traces, maybe, but nothing like this! Have the cat carriers out, just in case. There is a good potential for thundersnow.
Hubby picked up a bottle of Jeremia Weed - vodka & lemonade. It's super warm in the house, so we'll pretend it's summer!

  2. Evening, all!

AV, I'm less than happy with this weather! Is it bad by you? We still have localized flooding, and it's pouring on and off. One major road I was on today had cops turning everyone around due to downed powerlines. It's a mess here!

I had a long but productive day. Left work at one and went and walked a couple of dogs and then met XBF at the apartment so he could help me install a new toilet seat, towel holders and shower head. He became a bit too excites about the toilet operation and ended up breaking off a giant piece of the toilet! And then he decided to flush the toilet and water gushed from the break all over the floor!! So I high-tailed it to Walgreens for superglue and we managed to fix it and eventually install the new seat. Yay!
Hit a few thrift stores this afternoon and ended up finding a nice couch at Goodwill! They deliver so I won't have to rent a u-haul - more yay! Unfortunately they said it'll be about 72 hours. But at least I finally got one and can cross that off the list!

At Old Boss' house pet-sitting now and though it's not even 9 yet, I'm thinking about going to bed soon. I'm exhausted!
