I like Persians because I think they look so cranky all the time. They make me laugh.

I've never been owned by a persian, but they sure look like fuzzy-wuzzy lovers! Anyway, in general, I love kitties too!!!

The Persians I've had in my life (4 of the 13 cats)were always the most loving and loyal. My new husband can't get over how Sheba is so sweet--last week he actually picked her up and gave her a kiss! This from a big macho guy! Sheba's got him hooked!

I was owned by 5 female feral calicos, rosieposie 123! I know it's strange to think one could be "owned" by a feral cat,but it's true!! They were all untamed outdoor cats who lived in an insulated cardboard box underneath the 55ft. house-trailer I lived in.The mama cat was an orange/white mix named Leah. She showed up on my porch-steps and being the catslavefool I am,made a place for her before the winter cold and snows hit.6 months later I discovered why she chose me!!
The 4 girls were 1)Zoe:BIG white with brown/orange/gray spots and metallic blue eyes, she was The Shizzit, not to be messed with by the others but a real softy-heart when she wanted to be.Was actually the 1st to let me pet on her! 2)Angel:Mostly white w/speckled orange/brown spots. Not much smaller than Zoe but THE scrapper of the bunch, she also could leap 4ft. in the air from a standstill!!Big sweetie,really.3)Meagan: dark brown/light-orange tiger-stripes and white paws and belly, the world's land-speed champion and ultimate pacifist.(obviously! She was always the first to run when a fight broke out! LOL)And 4)Gwen(dolyn): the sickliest of the 4,was always fighting with one sickness(ear-mites,which I cured her of but soon came back) or another.Nearly ALL white w/tiny orange/brown patches. The biggest heart-tugger of all.LOUD yowler too!!lol. I'm currently waiting to move into an apartment that will allow cats. Maybe by spring! :) Sadly,I had to give all 5 away shortly before I had to involuntarily move back to the Big City(Seattle). But they all went to the local shelter and on to good homes in the country! -
I've been such a cat lover all my life -- never been without at least one --- that if I see one in a yard when I'm driving down the street, I slow down, roll down my window and talk to it! Haven't been shot yet.

Nirmal...you like to be up to your neck in kitties? Maybe we can work something out. Right now I'm owned by 14 Adult cats & 9 kittens in various stages of age. If we didn't live so far apart from each other, I'd love you to see my brood. I've had no luck with adopting them out this last kitten season. Not enuf homes for so many babies,I guess.

OOHh god lol..susie, yeah! Im in PA. I can' have children due to severe osteoperosis, so since I've been an INSANE (lol) cat lover all my life, so for me having kittie babies is a blessing. To be honest, I miss having 13 (or more) running around the house. If I was able, I'd be glad to see your gang one day! For me, having a feline version of the brady bucnh is the best!
