    Ok, got the nugget - it wasn't so bad. She yelled at me for being mean to her while she was being happy in front of the fire, but she allowed me to keep my fingers.

    Oh Joan, you had me LOL at "seeing stars". I'm sure Leela will forget all about it if you 'bribe' her with treats after the action.
    With beautiful sunny days and summer on the way I thought I would use my cheap version of a Furminator on Shadz to help minimise furballs(hate that hicka hicka noise), yesterday Shadz loved me brushing her but his morning was different. I chose retreat as a sensible option after she growled and then circled my legs while glaring at my ankles. Airy was standing on the balcony laughing and warning me that I was going to get ankle tapped unless I moved quickly. I moved and Shadz stalked off to sit on a stump in a patch of weeds and stare intently at something.

    ..........Leela - glad you got rid of the 'hitch-hiker'....... Cuddles gets those sometimes, and it drives her mad when I have to 'force' a removal!
