  1. .... Joan, it's about a 6 today..... down from a 9.99 yesterday ;)

.... I'm just better prepared mentally to handle it today......... yesterday, I had to switch gears so fast from one fire to another, it made my head spin! All thrown on top of leading a major meeting, it almost pushed me over the top!.................

......... however, nothing a little KOTSW didn't cure last night! (teehee!)

......... hope the rest of your day calms down!

  2. You challenged my memory today w/KOTSW Av...I had to make a pink tag to another link for completely forgot what your fave libation was! Well currently my fave libation is java, don't mind if I do w/another lemon donut! Hang in there today Joan. I kinda like our new 'puter system for it is an equalizer for all of us!!!

  3. That's good to hear AV - even just thoughts of a KOTSW help!
And JK, I'm glad to hear the new 'puter system is working out. *passes lemon donut box* Usually they're a pain at first, but once you get used to them and tap into the advancements, they become helpful tools.

  15. I need Hazel, too!!! Does she assemble furniture?
I put together 2 side tables today, as well as a dining room table and 1 of 4 chairs. Also fixed some sinks with Drano as well as bought new and replaced the drop plates under the hotplates on the stove. And walked dogs three times. And worked twice. I haz a tired, too!

  16. Oof, GD; do you ever slow down?

Posted 6 months ago by Kilroy #

  17. No :)

Though I will proudly tell you this. Dog-walking lady asked me today if I know any babysitters (she has an adorable 5 year old son). Used to be my area of expertise (was running babysitting service before pet-sitting as well as being a nanny for 6 years). I almost told her I'd do it (her son adores me), but caught myself at the last minute and told her I'd ask around.

Tomorrow I have three chairs left to assemble. Also need to strip my bed, remove cat tree from bedroom, clean everything in there and ban the boys from there. That'll probably take all the time in-between dog-sitting tomorrw. But at least it's Thursday and the weekend is closer - the first where I haven't had dog-sitting in about 6-7 weeks.

  18. Good job on at least saying no to the kid sitting gig, GD.

  19. you do need a holiday GD! I know you won't get one, but still!

  20. The babysitting would have been fun, but I can only do weekends, which is my only time off.

I do, Linda!!! I'm trying to get Black Friday off (we're open 8-1) - of course I still have 3 houses of dog-sitting and cat-sitting for a friend. Did actually turn down a dog-sitting gig for someone who just lived too far from the other four jobs.
