   Very early morning folks, seems like its been a quiet place lately....tis the holiday season and everyone is probably getting ready for family gatherings and such.

   Me, I am here @ that place....no bells on my toes though lately. Brain is fried, tattered and blowing in the wind or would that be rolling within my head cavity :) I think straight for a few moments and then it just veers off to the left or something like that.

   Deb, I thought they were too but it seems we have at least the rest of the week with strong winds. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the grounded ship doesn't split apart because of the winds. At least they have all accessible off now.
   I've had to have windows very slightly open today as it's been so hot and the curtains have spent the day blown onto the ceiling.
   Sorry to leave you now but I'm yawning uncontrollably and heading for bed. Nighty night and sweet dreams, headbonks to The Crew. Ditto for you Jcat and Libs & Millie.

    I didn't want to go in, either!!! I was so hoping I could get Friday off (it's a holiday hour day - 8am-1pm), but there's no one to cover, so it won't happen. But at least I'll be off on Thanksgiving.

    Hello, everyone! I just wanted to take a little time now before things get hectic this week, to say how thankful I am to have found such a wonderful group of friends. Although I don't post as often as I should, I want you all to know that you are always in my heart and mind. Have a lovely Thanksgiving for the USA friends and a glorious week for those who are far in geography but not from our hearts!

    Joan, we did have great weather mostly, although going out to watch fireworks after dinner Friday night it was COLD. The rest of the weekend was perfect, though.

    Ooo...I luv fireworks in the winter! They usually shoot them off at the tree lighting ceremony in our 3rd ward around Dec. 6th...carriage rides, hot cooca, cookies, carols...fun w/Santa for kids!

    Hi Deb - I'm sorry you have such a task at hand. Doesn't the funeral home help with it or is the details of his life that are tripping you up? I remember sitting there rattling off what I knew and the director wrote it up.

    Oh my, my.....how dang expensive these things are! I understand that it takes money to create a newspaper (ok and why don't they proof read them more carefully, but thats another gripe of mine) but still.

    Joan, they aren't using a funeral home, he was taken to be cremated on Saturday.

    Love the smell of coffee, not so much the taste of it :)

    Aw, $$ part sucks. I thought of it as a special send off for my sis...esp for the peeps she knew that I didn't know how to get in touch with! ( I do remb trying to tweak a few words here & there tho too!) My bro was cremated and his significant other took care of the obit but she missed some info in her tweaking tho!)
