  1. Good evening Shifters, it's wet and windy in KK & Jcat's area and dry and windy in mine. Very windy and has been like this for almost a week now and I'm tired of it.
The fountains are flowing with martinis(KOTSW)and mojitos, wines and sodas. There are nibbles of pretzels, nuts, vegetable crudites and dips and fresh fruit.
Agency kitties are ready to dispense snuggles.
    Come on in and relax.

  2. Evening MS. Weather is foul here, actually have the heater on. Forecast for tomorrow is lousy too. I have a hair appointment and I think I'll take a bag to put over my head to protect my new style! Or my hairdresser might have to resort to the industrial strength spray.

  3. KK you have the heater on! Goodness me it is foul weather. It's a very warm evening here and blustery. We had most of the day without the wind but it came back late afternoon.

  4. Evening Jan and KK :)

Must be chilly to have heater on! I have been tempted myself to turn mine on but still waiting for December.

  5. Evening Deb and KK and MS. Mmm, I am thinking KK might have gone to bed already. It is very hot here but it has been blowing a gale all day and night, my TV reception for TV3 news was so bad I had to stop watching it, and it's been overcast and rainy too. KK, sometimes I felt there just wasn't any point even bothering to comb my hair when I lived in Wellington, lol.

  6. Evening Deb, you just caught me. I was thinking of going to bed but I'll stay for a bit and chat.
KK has just headed off to bed.
You are getting a winter this year aren't you. Are The Crew keeping you warm?
Oh my, what a tiny yet gorgeous wee kitty in that link.

  7. I need a cool drink, brb!

I just made some cinnamon swirl buns in the breadmaker and they are now in the fridge to rise overnight. The breadmaker is full again -- trying out wholemeal rolls this time!

  8. Jcat, you make me feel so bad, I haven't even had time to try making bagels after you sent me the recipe. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, cinnamon swirls with a lovey cool L&P.

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  9. I would love an L&P right now but I am making do with water with a half lemon squeezed into it, MS, it is almost as nice. Sadly, the cinnamon swirls won't be ready until tomorrow...

Don't feel bad about the bagels, MS, cinnamon swirls are a cinch but bagels take commitment, lol.

  10. LOL, KK calls her Welly windy day hairstyle the "dragged through a gorsebush backwards" look.
I'm sitting here with a cup of coffee that has become lukewarm.

  11. I'm a bit worried about Millie, she has thrown up several times today. But she polished off a large plate of raw meat for dinner and so far has managed to keep it down, so hopefully it's just a blip. She is very fall-y over tonight though -- some days she is so good at walking now, she is almost as good as Charley, and some days she falls over all the time :(

  12. Evening Jane :)

Hmmm cinnie swirls sound so good right about now.....been thinking of Bordeaux Cherry w/Choc bit yogurt.....of course don't have any in here but its nice to think of...

  13. Jane, maybe some days she just isn't a straight walking kind of gal (I sure hope that is the reason).

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  14. Ooh, Deb, that sounds supernice!

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  15. Oh Millie, don't you worry you Meowmy like that. Could she have had furballs Jcat? I'm pleased she has managed to keep her dinner down.
Deb, that sounds sound nice to thin about.
Getting very tired here so not on much longer.

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  16. Could be, MS, she does wash herself an awful lot, although she has very sleek short fur that doesn't seem to come out much, unlike Libby's. I didn't see any evidence of furballs but let's hope that's it. She has been a bit under the weather with a reappearance of snuffles (they all had it badly as kittens) after her spaying, the vet thinks the op triggered a flare-up. But she has been getting much better. I suspect that has probably been contributing to her bad balance days. We all have our off days, don't we?

  17. Oh, and I got some of those iron melts from the chemist, MS, thank you for recommending those. They taste rather nice!

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  18. They do taste nice don't they. Makes taking them pleasant.
If Millie has the snuffles maybe she has a bit of snot running down her throat that made her throw up. I know with Shadz that when she gets a bit stressed her eye weeps and she gets a bit snuffly, a legacy of being so ill as a wee kitten. The occurrences are getting fewer and milder as she gets older.
Guess who has already laid claim to my bed for the night.

    Posted 6 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  19. Hmmmm, I wonder, lol. You may have to get in there quick, MS, before she takes up all the space. Amazing how kitties are super-expandable like that...

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  20. Shadz is not only super-expandable but she continues to expand all night and only in my direction and only until I am hanging by my fingernails on the edge of the bed. At least she doesn't snore like Mum's cat. I have to be thankful fr small mercies.
I'm going to head for bed now Jcat & Deb. Sweet dreams to you both and headbonks to Libs & Millie and The Crew.

  21. Nighty-night, MS, sleep well and sweet dreams and hope that Shadz leaves you a bit of room! Hee, I think snoring kitties are sweet! Catch you tomorrow, MS. I have to wait up a bit longer to rescue my wholemeal rolls from the breadmaker and pop them in the fridge...

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  22. I only have three hours left tonight and so ready to go home now, but guess I can hang in here for that long.

Jane, glad that you got the iron melts that taste good even.

Jan, the sniffles are annoying and don't we wish that they just went away for good.

I have to start on my cards to be sent out, so have to find the energy this break to do it.

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  23. G'night Jan, sleep well and have sweet dreams, headbutts for HRH in the morning.

Jane, I do admire you for making the rolls and bread stuff :)

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. Deb, I admire you for getting the cards started. I have no idea if or when I will have time to get started on that.

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  25. Jane, I just love going thru the cards just wish I had better discipline right now :)

  26. Owwww, what a sweet little one, I know how s/he feels about getting up in the morning, lol.

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  27. I know, someone creeps in in the night and resets the alarm to ring at some god-forsaken hour rhat no one was ever meant to get up at...

Posted 6 months ago by jcat #

  28. Lol, I think one or two of the crew do it so I will get up and feed *them*!

Posted 6 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #
