   Morning everyone, still quite under-the-weather, the rug, the house fell on me or what have you here in the Old Pueblo aka Tucson. Actually came in late because I didn't wake up in time, that is a first for me.

   Hope that everyone is having a good weekend and enjoying friends, family, furry ones, and just life in general.

   There is a light breakfast buffet this morning, we have crepes with fillings of your choice, and other choices provided by Mimi's Cafe....

   Good morning Deb, sorry that you're still not feeling 100% or as we used t say o the girls when they were younger, feeling lower than a snakes bely in a wagon rut. I hope you improve soon.
   Woohoo, crepes with blueberries and strawberries please and a smallish dollop of whipped cream on top please. May I have the crab cake au naturale too, no Florentine Benedict*. Wow, Mimi's Cafe sure has a great menu! !
   We just had a day without strong winds - bliss !-
   We did some Xmas shopping and I tended to my poor windblown and dry garden while Shadz stalked birds feeding on bread I had put out.

   Mmmm, those crepes sound good, may I have some please? Tried to tackle my tax again today, didn't get much further than the phone/internet bills, lol. But did make two batches of cinnamon swirls for the freezer and two batches of chocolate fudge brownies, and several portions of macaroni cheese for easy dinners. (Now that it's clean and empty, I have this irresistible urge to fill it up, lol.) Making an appointment for Libs at the vet tomorrow if she is still sneezing :(

   Evening Jan, Mimi's does have a really nice menu and they present it well. The kitties were all kind of cute weren't they :) My voice is worse today than yesterday, oh well its got to end sometime soon.

   It does, MS, it does. Plus I think I have a subconscious desire to comfort eat so I'm comfort cooking first. Yes, Libs was very snuffly the other day and the vet had warned me that Mills would be shedding virus so I would need to keep an eye on any of my other cats. :(

    Oh! would that describe the chocolate bar I'm munching at the moment? It is sugar free though. And I did have a handful of nuts just a short time ago.

    Oh I really hate it when that happens to me Deb. You're so frantic to get where you should be that you forget things that you don't normally even have to think about but do automatically. I hope you can get some food from somewhere there or your workmates will maybe share.

    They were worried, heck the supervisor was standing outside waiting to see when I was coming in. May get one of them to go out for food though.

    Deb, isn't it great to be needed and missed. They really need you.
    I see that it's about to become tomorrow so I'd better head off to bed. HRH came in a while ago had a snack and pleaded to go out again. If she isn't at the door when I head up then she's out for the night. She has enjoyed our wind free day today and I guess she's probably thinking about stalking prey tonight.

    Lol, last year it was a small 3' tree with old-fashioned cardboard ornaments.....Kitty would saunter by and slap one of the ornaments off the tree!
