Well I just got back from Wallmart and I bought the stockings. My Church has been giving me things to fill them with. My coworkers have been beautiful Every day I have been going home with a trunk full of gifts. Next Wednesday I have a group coming to help fill the stockings, I'm praying we have enough stuff, But I know God will Provide! I also stopped at family dollar as they had a sale of get 10% off if you buy $100 worth of toys which I did. I was checking out and I said to the girl that I was Santa! She said I thought he was a fat jolly old man. I went see I fooled you all these years! Then I told her what it was for! Well it seems this young woman is from Phonicia 2 towns away from Lexington, Her Parents lost there house and she is here going to school at Stonybrook. She gave me my 10% off and then called the manager over and said This is my Aunt I want to give her my discount, so I got another 15% off! When I left I gave my "niece"(oh crap I don't know her name!) a hug and said I'll see you next saturday with a wink. God works in misterious ways!!
Happy Holidays My friends!!Posted 5 months ago by 3 kits staff #

I had to go today and buy 15 more stockings(I didn't have enough, were just doing the kids) and about $100 worth of candy(you can't get a stocking without candy!!) My kids and I seperated all the stuff that has come in so far(The apartment kitchen is full!) still need stuff for the teenagers??? Anybody have ideas? I bought footballs, basketball, soccer balls and finger lights for teenage boys(Thanks MC) and makeup and nail kits for the teenage girls(I'm making baskets with all this stuff) but the piles for them are small! Everybody wants to buy for the younger kids! I know tomorrow my Church will be bringing in stuff I'm praying there's more for the teenagers!
Also Please say a prayer for Pastor Jack( he runs the Lexington Mission) and his family as Jacks Father past away today. Him and his family are on the way to Va. to bury his Dad. He was worried about me coming up on Friday saying he would be home by then?? I told him don't worry and to take care of things he needs to take care of! He's worried his town won't get Christmas!Posted 5 months ago by 3 kits staff #

Linda,
My problem is, Most of the kids have lost there belongings and some are living in the hotel. I don't know what they have! I would get I-tunes gift cards but I don't know if they have something to put it on? As for the fast food gift cards there is no place close enough to use them(Trust me there is nothing around for 45 minutes, I lived there in my teen years) I'm at a lost and hate giving gift cert. but it looks as if that's where I'm heading!CTR,
It not only means a lot to all of you it means a lot to me and the town of Lexington! I just wish I could win the lottery and fix all the homes that are damaged!
Merry Christmas and God Bless you all
