    A day to get organized fur sure kits!
    Me bringing in a box of virtual treats as pastries for today is National Pastry Day! Dig in & enjoy...me, grabbing an apricot filled croissant with another cuppa joe and out I go to the purrfect patio for it is lunchin' time in chilly brewtown! C'mon Tux to the lounge chair pronto!

    Hello everyone. Busy weekend for me, my sister is getting married. Good news though, I'm going to help a second hospice organization set up an animal therapy program! :D Met with them yesterday and they were really impressed. I'm excited to help more of our elderly animal lovers, who often miss their pets when they have to move into the various levels of facilities, be it assisted living or a nursing home.

    Yes, the irony of it all! :)
    We usually get our tree around the middle of the month but it won't go up till next Sunday. We're going out the night before and don't want to leave it unsupervised the first night it's up. I don't remember anything serious from last year, but Comet as a teenager might be different than baby Comet. 19 lbs climbing a tree might be a tad more damaging!

    Good job Kit! That's awesome.

    George alternates between lying under our tree looking adorable & trying to eat it and the ornaments :) I moved an ornament up higher last night because he was chewing on it and then thought, "uh oh, now he'll probably try to climb the tree", but I don't think he did.

    ....... do you want to know what Abby did this Christmas? (and I know she got this from Queen Cuddle).......... SHE'S SUPPORTING A BUTT ORNAMENT!!! .......... and I found more tinsel in the litter box!...........

    ....... Cuddles was famous for this, and so I have her where she can't get to the tree now............. who knew little 'stealth' Abby would take up that bad habit!................ I caught a 'glimpse' of a shiney silver stringy thingy hanging from .....er.... her..... well you know where, as she was scampering away this afternoon............... *sighs*........... bottom level tree tinsel removal will begin tomorrow..............

    Oh No...Av.....What I've heard and read, tinsel is a no-no on trees, with pudtats around. Maybe you could hang some cooked pasta(spaghetti) instead. But, then.... after eaten, may have the same effect, and look like tapeworms!! ;)

    12P, you are so right!............. I didn't do it for years, cause I couldn't contain Cuddles from the tree, but now that I can, I never thought Abby would to the same thing!..... first time I've seen her do that!........... tinsel removal instituted tomorrow am!................ who knew??!

    Oh look.... banana goo!!!! Doesn't that go well with vodka?? Cuz goodness knows that I need it after tonight!!!

    Actually, it wasn't too bad in that there was no barfing from drinking the disgusting concoction known as The Grog Bowl. No, not consumption by me, but by the cadets. Dinner was, as expected, chicken fried steak..... it's Texas, after all.

    But get this.... we had to make all of the traditional military toasts with sparkling grape juice!!! Are you kidding me???? I mean, kids in France drink wine!!! Oh but wait.... look how they turn out. Well, never mind....
