The kittehs are opening up early this morning, its the Cornish Rex(s) turn to host this cafe with their unique looks and mannerisms. We are having a fruit and breakfast buffet, whatever suits your palate this morning can be whipped up for you :) (I will be here but lurking sometimes as I am @ that place ).

Evening/morning Deb. Mmmmmmm even though it's 10pm here I just might have to have a few strawberries from the Cornish Rex. Now I have met a Devon Rex but not a Cornish Rex. I'll have to google one and see what it looks like.
Today I got wet, between the rain and washing down Mum's house I didn't stand a chance. We got the job done though, all the dirt and dust washed away and mould sprayed and washed off. I'm feeling quite weary tonight. It's still raining this evening so HRH Shadz was inside early and is curled up on a chair under the table sound asleep.
How's "that place" this evening, I hope it's not too frantic or even frantic at all.

Evening Jan :) The Cornish Rex's hair is a bit longer I believe with the wavy hair. At least you got the house washing done with the extra bennie of a free shower :) This place is unbelieveable at times, very strange questions this evening.

Oh I see the Cornish Rex has no fur while the Devon Rex has short fur and they both have large ears.

Yes, yes and yes I belive so......have had some really, really dumb ???'s tonight....and these are from ppl who carry weapons and have ammunition, ack!!
You are right it is the Devon Rex has the longer (yet still short) hair and the Cornish Rex very little.

Aren't you glad you're where you are. Our police here are not armed on a regular basis, they d have access when necessary but it has to be a pretty serious situation. People here can't carry weapons legally and pistols are illegal without a special collectors licence. Of course the 'baddies' arm them that's themselves but that's the same everywhere.

I just love the synchronized kitties, they look exactly like two brothers we had called Monty and Nicky. They were sons of our first ever cat Whitefoots. Unfortunately they didn't live to a ripe old age as their Mother did, one lost an argument with a truck and the other just walked off up the farm paddocks into the bush and became a wild cat, I think he liked the hunting more than loving and a warm bed. Fresh rabbit is hard to beat.

I liked the synchronized kitties too :) Maybe the one who walked off figured it was alright after the other one lost the argument with the truck. I am glad to be inside, tonight is just strange....names sound like something from Star Trek movies and I wouldn't doubt that the ppl look like the characters from the same movies, lol!

Trying to figure out if I want a new phone from Sprint or not, or if I want to go with a no-contract provider for my cell phone. Sprint isn't bad and I have been with them for 10 years now, but I get tired of not getting offered new phones for nothing when other providers offer that to their customers. Yes I am whining some without cheese even :)

I have a pre-paid phone that I bought and that's it, no conracts no free phones. With one provider here they offer you a free phone every so often as long as you're on a contract.

Most here offer free phones w/contracts of two years, may go with a no-contract and just pay month to month (basically pre-paid) and have basically the same unlimited service I have now.

Good morning everyone! I had a productive weekend: made another 109 cookies (telling hubs we now had to ease off eating them because I need to give some away), made up Christmas gifts to give away, and made up two dozen chocolate covered pretzel rods (decorated with either white chocolate, tiny gold non-pareils or multi-colored nonpareils.
I found a sale on Christmas cards and bought some, YAY! Now I have to make address labels and get more stamps...so maybe I can send cards where I didn't think I could....
I'd never tried making my own chocolate dipped pretzel rods. Aside from being a bit messy, it wasn't that hard and it was a lot of fun. Plus, you can dip and eat the broken pieces (LOL).
I didn't have that many broken pretzels, a tribute to the packaging for shipping. I looked at the store brand pretzels, but gee...there might have been one unbroken one in a bag! Going with the pricier pretzels gave me very little waste, maybe only three broken ones in the whole bag.
Mmmm, chocolate dipped pretzels...
