Angie put's on her warmest clothes, and heads out into the snow to seek out the perfect tree. Something lovely, something large, something plush and full.
Pulling behind her a huge huge package laddened sled. Walking deeper and deeper into the woods over snowy hill after snowy hill, that tree's full and plus and lovely but too small, that one's huge but scrawny and not so purty. So I continue on. I pul the sled over the last snowy hill to look down. In the meadow of snow and frosted white and red pointsettia's in the center is a tree! A tree sparkling and glistening in moonlight reflecting off the snowflakes. Yes, this tree is lovely, yes this tree is plush and full, but is it big enough. I walk down the hill and approach the tree and oh yes! As I stand at the base and look up up up falling over into the snow to lay feet facing the tree base and my head and arms spread out looking up. Yes yes this is the perfect tree. For a moment indulging in childish delight I begin to slowly spread and slide my legs and arms to make a beautiful snow angel at the base of the tree.
I carefully stand up and walk to the sled. I slowly open one box after the next laying things out strewn upon the snowy carpet to see. I pick up item after item and climb up the ladder I brought hanging ribbons, and bows, ornaments and strings of dried cranberries and popcorn, pine cones and wooden stars and candy canes. I strung bells from the top all the way to the bottom, so that when the wind blows he bells will chime and ring merrily beckoning all to come look. The ornaments in shades of silver, and gold and covered in glitter so whether sunlight or moonlight caresses it that the tree will sparkle for all to see. Climbing to the very top I place a delicate hand blow glass star to shine brightly as the light reflects through it shining as bright as the fabled star of bethelham.
Come one come all follow the sled tracks to come view the beauty that mother nature has gifted for us to behold. Close by is popcorn, trail/chex mix and sweet confectiosn aplenty. A bit cold but a sight to behold.
