It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
The greenery is hung high in the cafe so the curious kittens don't get any ideas. They keep looking up at the red and silver and blue and gold balls hanging and trying to figure out how to get to them!
The tree is here and ready to decorate! Responsible kittehs (Is there such a thing? Oh yes, in TDK land, agency kittehs make sure accidents never happen.) are getting out lights, brightly colored ornaments, and a great big white tree skirt. There is an equally huge star that will somehow make its way to the top of the tree.
Our chef kittehs are busy baking and cooking breakfast and await your order. They are specializing in cookies today. Did you know that oatmeal cookies count as a breakfast food? It's true!

Morning, Joan! Ooh, I'll have to grab some oatmeal raisin cookies for Mr K, those are his favorites. Me, big surprise, point me at the chocolate chip cookies :)
We were listening to our Elvis Christmas CD this morning; I love that CD. He has such a great voice.
We started packing today for our cruise, can't believe we leave in 5 days. Have to decide which books to take.

We're doing the same cruise to the Bahamas that we did last year, only coming back Christmas Eve instead of Christmas morning. We honestly couldn't think of anything else to do with my last week off when what we really wanted to do fell through (it was sold out by the time my vacation request was approved, bah humbug). The good thing is, having done it once we know which parts we can skip.

Ooo it certainly does look festive and smells great in the cafe today, thanks Joan for organizing the kitsmas crew! Ooo choco cherry chunk cookies too, yum they are ONE of my faves! Will grab a few to go with my cuppa joe...waves to DM, Kilroy and anyone else who stops by with have a teriffic Toosday! Now a smooch for Tux and out I go!

My rascal boys are at it....found 3 ornaments on the floor this morning....then I was in my computer room and heard something, so went out into the kitchen, and both Jas and Ram were on the counter, knocking things on the floor! Brats! Rambo ran like a bat outta hell, and Jas just looked at me....lol....it's a good thing I love them so much :) -

It's lunchin' time in brewtown...I need another cuppa java as hazlenut and a few more cookies...white choco cranberry chunk, peanut butter w/hershey kiss and an apricot thumb print...a little bit of fur as garni is ok too! C'mon Tux, to the always purrfect patio & lounge chair!

Had lunch with Mom, sis, bro & hubby - pizza, yum! I'm quite full - time for a ginger ale and a spot on the patio. Will stop back in before I leave for a cookie.

I keep looking at Colby and Martin. They sure helped me thru the day! Often I go back and look at kittens randomly - sure to bring a smile!

Oy, thanks for the Trader Joe's head up Linda...am headed there this week, guess I'll nix the weekend trip...maybe tomorrow it'll be! Okey, almost time to close up shop & follow the sidewalk home to my kits. Wondering if Lucky will stroll into the house again as last nite, at least to stay for a few. It has been relatively clear/mild he is still so very antsy to go back outdoors for a bit more furry freedom! Anyway, see you on the flip side as hump day!

OMG, I don't need to know about those cookies! :) We have a TJ's near us, along with a Whole Foods & a couple of other upscale food stores, way too much good food.
Georgie is OK, and I'm hoping he stays that way while we're out of town. Don't know what we'll do if he gets sick while we're gone :( Cat sitter has the numbers for the regular & emergency vet, but the emergency vet won't even look at him without a downpayment. *crossing paws that nothing happens*

The Trader Joes cookies are only out at this time of year! Ya gotta try them...they're small! (altho that means I eat a bunch more!)
We'll all keep our fingers crossed that everything is fine. Leave an unsigned check made out to the emergency vet just in case? altho I imagine Mr K would not like that idea.

Afternoon everyone, actually slept for 3-4 hrs today (yay) after not sleeping but two hours the last 48+ :)
Now hungry as heck and can't decide on whether to cook, eat cereal or go out and forage for food.

Hi all! Kilroy, I hope you have a fabulous time on your cruise!
When I pet-sit, a lot of my clients have their credit card on file at the vet's in case something happens. Just a thought.I had another busy day today. The electric heater fireplace I ordered as my Christmas present to myself and the boys arrived - in many, many pieces that needed to be assembled! There was a fair amount of growling and a few swear words involved, but I managed to put it together and I love it!!! I can turn on the flame part without the heat which I'm sure is what I'll be doing most of the time, living in Florida! Can't wait to go home and turn it on tonight!
