I'm ready to Scream & spontaniously Combust!! I finally got Hissy & Naughty to stay home & get comfy in their bed & come to eat regularly b4 winter started. It took weeks to do. Then 3 neighbor's w/4 cats between them aren't taking care of them & I fight every day to keep them away. Another neighbor (right behind us) has a dog that barks 24/7. They've been called numerous times, only to end up yelling out the window for the dog to shut up. The manager has been contacted several times about it. I don't want to call animal control just yet because apparently they have the dog up for sale (after yrs. of neglect). They'll never get what they want for it.
And now we have a mama & her 3 baby raccoons running loose in the yard & neighborhood in broad daylight. Not a good sign. Either she may be sick or the babies. It unusal to see them out during the day unless they are sick. I found brick almost too heavy for a human to move ripped away from the skirting of the house. Another bad sign. It may mean that father is still under there. They can be extremely dangerous when they have babies. Very protective, they are.
I would just like some peace & quiet w/out having to chase, yell or shoo someone else's animal away. And let my own kits get back to a quiet life & be able to get 2 decent meals in the day w/out having to fend for their own in their own space. Is that too much to ask for?
Thanks for letting me get that out.

Thanks you guys for understanding my frustration.
@Skyron...Vacation? What's that? I tried getting away for just a couple of days. Mr.Useless refuses to take care or even learn to take car of the kits if I should leave. I couldn't trust him anyways due to him being stoned on a regular basis now.
@Dave...I know your right but I've been laughing about it for a very long time. It's getting to be way too much to laugh at when it happens all the time.
@JJBM...I do feel better now since I vented. Don't feel like I will combust anymore,so that good.
@Linda...I miss you girl since you don't have as much time to be on TDK (altho I've been pretty limited myself these days). I just may have to call animal control. It's a very hard decision on that. I want to give the guy some time to find a buyer but doubt he will. The dog needs training badly. It's a daily occurence to watch the dog pace all dayin the kennel. He only stops to chew on his plastic dog house(I've seen him bite pieces off & swallow them). And he'll stop long enuf to eat his own feces from the concrete flooring too. His barking is like having a loudspeaker sitting in our windows. Definately has given me headaches.
We've been good neighbors to them but they've been less than favorable back. -
{{{{{Feral}}}}} It's pointless, but I wonder why your neighbors even have a dog if they leave it caged all the time. We had neighbors that would have all night karaoke parties the last place we lived. They didn't have jobs, so they used to do this several nights week. Of course the building management couldn't care less even though the lease had a "Good Neighbor" clause that specified that tenants were to keep the noise down after 11:00pm. Hopefully someone will adopt the poor doggie, he/she needs a loving home.

Sounds like your neighbors shouldn't be owning ANY animals, what a shame :( Animal control seems to be your best option and they might even be able to get rid of those pesky and potentially dangerous raccoons.
