Goodmorning all, the espresso machine is up and running and there is boiling water for the tea drinkers.
There is a choice of cereals,fresh fruit and yoghurt and wholegrain toast and of course crispy bacon.
I'm up late because Airy ad I have bee making small mountains of food to feed all the relatives who have arrived to help celebrate my Mothers birthday. There are just the dinner rolls to bake and then I can crawl into my bed. Ahhhhhhhh.

DANG! This keyboard bites. The M sticks sometimes. I spilled coffee on my other one, which was a replacement for this one with the sticky M.
Cold and windy! After a weird couple of days of 50+ temps, we're back to the 30's with a bitter wind. Luna doesn't like windy times, she gets a worried look and runs around looking for a place to hide from the noise. Poor timid baby!

Good early morning/late evening, MS!............ I'm glad you opened the Cafe!........ I got up early to see Mr. AV out the door (he's working, our new business is taking off, yay!).......... I'm on vaca from my 'regular' job, but will be tackling the house chores today before the college ones start arriving this evening!.............. *stupid Hazel, no show*..............
............. this weekend, I too will begin prep and making my 'mountains' of food for Christmas, since I'll be cooking Christmas Eve dinner for my side of the family (10 people); and then Christmas lunch for Mr. AV's side (12 people).......... not to mention, I'll have Son, Dau and BF the entire week before Christmas to feed................ *sighs*............ ready or not, here come the Holidays!

Hi all, the big day is the 21st, that's when we have another get together for all her friends, this weekend is just family. The dinner rolls are now in the oven and t won't be long for them to bake. I'll pass on the birthday wishes.

AV, your Mum is a Spring chicken compared to Mum's four score and ten. My mum just keeps on going and going too, normally out helping elderly people(LOL) She still has her driving licence although I drive her round a lot.
My baking evening/morning is over now, 2 dozen each of mini quiche an mini muffin,18 white dinner rolls to join the 18 wholemeal an 18 wholegrain already baked. BBQ meats marinating and tomorrow morning we're making a heap of club sandwiches and preparing the fresh fruit salad and lettuce and a bean salad. Phew! I need a KOTSW or maybe some bourbon in my coffee.

Good morning...not feeling so good this morning. I had 3 incidents of leg pain last night, so I didn't sleep so well. Am calling the doctor this morning to find out what's going on...don't want to have health problems during the holidays.

Found out yesterday my co worker/friend must put her kitty to sleep today due to severe kidney damage. He is only 12 :( I cried on the way home from work thinking about it. I have seen this kitty a couple of times. Co worker has a few more kitties as well, one being 17 yrs. old. She had NO idea about the sick kitty, and feels SO bad about it. Please send kind thoughts and lift up prayers to Wendal and his human family.... My heart is breaking for them. :(

Happy purrday Bobby! Good morning everyone.
Last day before we leave on our cruise, yay! We've got the cat sitters all lined up, and we even figured out how to turn on the closed captioning on our TV for one of them, so she can hang out with George & watch TV.
I mentioned to Mr. K today the suggestion someone posted about putting orange peels on the tree to keep a cat away, and his response was "I wouldn't want to do that because George really likes the tree, and the Christmas season isn't that long. He doesn't do that much damage". Pretty good considering the orange terror broke an ornament yesterday.

Just wanted to share that I got the cutest "Sister card" from my sister in NJ. It has green fuzzy garland across it with hearts, stars, candy canes, and ornaments hanging on it. In the middle are two mittens, red or green, with grey and white kitties in them with their little paws over the tops smiling. Awwww so cute! I have the greatest Sis ever! :)

Morning all! So Glad it is Friday, even if it is windy and cold. I have a date night with my sweetie tonight. Dinner and a movie and then tomorrow some good friends are getting married and I am helping out at the reception. I have a few little Christmas presents and birthday presents to buy and then Sunday will be the wrapping fest!
I hope my cards have been making their way to your mailboxes. They come with many heartfelt prayers for you all. Prayers also for our family who were not on the card list too!
