I think that missing SM's birthday, and she has been a member of TDK almost from the very beginning, is a note of how far we have strayed.
We need to get back on track and reclaim TDK! And remember those of our members who have been so faithful, so loyal and so truly loving. SM is certainly all of that, and more.

I have other friends with birthday's at this time of year and my mother also and they have often said they tend to get forgotten as everyone is so busy preparing for Xmas and end of year things. As for being slighted I don't feel that way. I have been a member of this site since long before it came to this format. My birthday has only been remembered one year in all that time.
I do say thank you for the wishes because no matter what day they come they are a blessing. I am not on TDK nearly as often and there are birthdays I have been late for as well. We all do what we can in the time we have to support those we care about. TDK certainly has allowed many people to look outside their own community and grow. May TDK members remember to be kind and helpful to those new and old as this particular community continues to grow and shape. My it hold to Kittenmaster's intent and stay positive and a place to share!
