It's Bobby's fifth birthday today and the boys and I have been celebrating all day! They just had their second helping of tuna of the day!
GG has hockey so I'm having a girl's and kitties' night in - Christmas tree is lit, as it the fireplace and the lit garland around it and a couple of scented candles. I'm going to relax with cheese and crackers and a glad of white wine while the boys finish their tuna dinner and then have catnip for desert. I'm inviting all of you to come by, see my new place, celebrate Bobby's birthday, soak up some Christmas spirit, and just relax. No need to knock, and please don't ring the bell - Deb hates that - just come on in!

Hiya GD! Happy Birfday Bobby! Bought a Christmas card that had a picture of a cat on it with the name tag Bob. Inside was the whole cat with a string of bells on his tail. Caption read: Bells on Bob's Tail Ring. LOL!! Think I sent that to JRoc.
I am so full! Made some pizza, well, freezer to oven pizza. Then I made chocolate chip cookies. I present the GD household/nightshift with virtual cookies and milk (Bailey's go well with cookies too!). Leela and Comet are coming by with a sackful of toys for Bobby. *wanders through* Hello guys :). Been busy playing a new Star Wars game that just came out. Bruised a rip apparently last night when I had an asthma attack, which makes me have a severe coughing fit but I'll be ok. I would do it at the end of the semester though after the infirmary is closed so I have no way of checking for sure. The girls and Cas have been doing well. Enjoying getting all the Christmas cards. :) Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I am still unpacking. Tonight I made a path to a closet so I can put stuff in there. I found the top of the diningroom table also.Whew !!! time for a break !!! My 3 girls got tuckered out watching me.
Here is Bob's present. It's a mouse one can put catnip in when the catnip smell gets low. Oh see !!! He likes it already !!!

It's nice to relax a bit tonight. Going out tomorrow night so I will probably nod off on the couch soon and try to get a somewhat early start tomorrow. I have lots to do and not much time to do it. My Christmas card list got a bit mixed up so now I'm not sure who I sent cards to!
Comet loves to "TP" the water bowl! Picture the little jokester with a high-pitched voice going "hee hee hee!".
Oh and he's managed to chase the birds from my feeder. He lunges and thumps full force - all 19 lbs - on the window. We haven't filled the feeder all week :( Silly boy!

MS stumbles into the NS office. Happy Birthday Bobby! Bliss GD and girl & kitty evening with a Christmas tree and a lit fire.
Here we have just had a family party for my Mothers upcoming 90th birthday. We have entertained and fed a horde of family. It was fantastic even if the heavens opened and it poured. We were all cosy inside a woolshed(where they shear sheep).

Evening, Jan and Deb, gosh I am glad it was Saturday today. I had a very quiet day indeed after the gadding about of the week, just spent it quietly pottering around the house, doing some tidying and cleaning up. Still raining today so I couldn't get out into the garden to do any more hedge or lawn cutting. MS, you must be exhausted but I'm so glad the party for your mum went well. Sounds like a lot of fun (I love parties in woolsheds!)

Glad that you had a good week wandering here and there :) I have a Christmas party to go to this evening, its my friend's house and this is the first year since she has been sick (5-6 years now) that she is doing big Christmas.....believe she has 9 trees up this year, all are theme trees.

Jane, her trees are quite beautiful, she used to do 11-13 trees throughout the house. They would start in Sept/Oct to put up the trees and decorations. After she got sick, they went to Flagstaff and different places because it was less work for her.

Jane, not really but she is adapting to it even with the kicking and screaming the whole way. She was the 18 hr a day workaholic very type A person and then all of a sudden she had a swollen half-heart 2-3 times the size of the other half and other problems from there.

............ had two college ones home when I woke up this morning.......... they decided to come in late last night............ chores done yesterday, so I can spend the day with the kids and Mr. AV, then have 3 Christmas parties to attend tonight!............... I'd better get a nap in somewhere! LOL

Good Morning! Missed the Kiwis again, sigh. Sounds like a successful 90th b-day party.
The birds are back! They come in one at a time, grab a seed and take off. Maybe they know when the boy's naptime is! (He's snoring over there by the wood pile.) Leela seems to know that they will come if she doesn't sit right in front of the window; she's sitting on the kitchen floor looking up at them and chattering (here birdy birdy!).
Going to a party in PA this evening. In the meantime I have cards to write, houcleaning to do and I seem to be missing some Christmas kitchen stuff. Will see if we missed a box in the attic. Good morning, all! Now I want a Bob card!
I've got three more hours at work and then two houses of dog-sitting, and taking Glen to PetsMart for his Santa picture. Got up at 6:15, which is too early on a Saturday, and drove to walk Old Boss' dogs and found he'd left me a $50 Christmas bonus/present so that was a nice surprise. The car isn't running well, so it'll be put towards a visit to the mechanic - meh :(

Morning, GD. Phooey on the car repair, but hooray for a bonus to help pay the bill.
Hanging out waiting for Mr. K to get back from the gym, then his daughter is driving us to the dock where we board our cruise. One reason we like this particular trip; it leaves right out of Manhattan about half a mile from our building. Last year we took the subway.
