  1. It's great to have her here to share the load. I really need to take it easier on my knee than I have this last week. I'm getting lovely cuddles from HRH at the moment, she is tucked up tight beside me and purring away contentedly.

  2. Ooh, that sounds nice, I am drifting off to sleep at the keyboard, I think I need a cuppa tea to revive me, back soon...

  3. Managed to sidle away from the furry cuddler and make myself a cuppa. I'm almost falling asleep too Jcat and it won't be long before I head to bed.

  4. Me neither, MS, I was planning to do some more work but who am I kidding? At least I got a good long chunk of hedge done again tonight, a couple more days and a bit more effort and it will be done for another year, I will be able to concentrate on hacking down the grass, lol...

  5. Evening ladies, heck if I had my choice I would be heading the way to my bed...I do hear it calling my name.

Jane, wow more of the hedge has been trimmed, yay!

Jan, yes ma'am you need to take it easy on the knee so you can enjoy the holidays with pleasure...

  6. Deb, as soon as the grass is cut too, I will take pix of the roses for you, you can't see them over the top of the hayfield at the moment!

  7. Jcat, any sign of the sheep to keep the grass down?

    Posted 5 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  8. Nooooo, not yet, I was wondering about that today myself, MS, as I wielded this delicate little weedeater against this monstrous grass that refused to be chopped down. However, my nice Honduran neighbour and his wife did invite me along to the end-of-year party for his Spanish conversation classes last week, since he was cooking Honduran food for everybody.

  9. Did you go Jcat? did you get to sample the Honduran food?

  10. ACK!!! What no sheep yet??? Now the sheep idea on keeping the paddock grasses down is such a good idea, it just needs to come to pass. It will be nice to see your roses :) How nice that you have an invite for the end-of-year party :)

Sitting here and so very tired this evening, keep hearing voices in my head (lol love to say that), broke a piece off of my bpa free cup here when it fell off the counter :(

  11. Of course I went, MS, turn down tacos? I don't think so!

I think perhaps the sheep are busy at the moment, it's being Christmas and all, Deb. What's a bpa-free cup?

  12. I hope they're not busy being Christmas dinner Jcat, your grass wouldn't get eaten then.
Ohhhhhhh roses, you have roses? Wish I could grow them but it doesn't seem to be in my green thumb list.
    Mmmmmmm tacos, yum.

  13. MS, roses grow like weeds in the Wairarapa. They're about the only thing I can't manage to kill. And they look fabulous this year!

  14. Jane, its a cup made out of recycleable products and won't allegedly harm you with chemicals.

Jan, I normally can grow roses but not in the house I am in currently for some reason.

  15. Well, ladies, I'm afraid I think I'd better toddle off to bed, it's late, eek! I am going to snuggle up to Miss Millie, who is nice and warm and fuzzy though she does tend to pull my hair when she feels like it, lol.

  16. Ahhhhhh, surrounded by rose ladies. I envy you, I love highly scented roses.
I just sneaked out and made Mr MS's lunch without HRH noticing I was gone. She was in a deep sleep.
Oh, that reminds me, as we were looking at all the Christmas lights tonight in the semi dark something raced over Airy's foot and into some greenery on the side of the road. Mr KK put his hand into the greenery and a wee kitty launched itself into his hand. Of course we all ohhhhhhh'd & ahhhhhhh'd. We looked at all the cars going past bumper to bumper and thought what a dangerous place for a wee kit so we took it to a house and another cat came out to greet us and the little one raced to it and they started playing. There wasn't anyone home but both cats seemed happy to see each other and stayed back away from the road mush to our relief.

  18. Nighty night Jcat, sweet dreams and headbonks to Libs and Millie. Jcat, how about a hair net.

    Posted 5 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  19. I'm off to bed now too, time to rest my knee and my poor squished toe.
Sweet dreams Deb when you get home from 'that place' and headbonks to The Crew.

  20. But that would spoil all her fun, MS, lol...

Awww, wee kitty, not a good time to be outside with all those nasty cars going by!

Nighty-night, ladies, sweet dreams and sleep well when you do decide to go to bed, scritches to all the fur butts, I must go and see if Miss Libs wants to come in (she usually chooses the middle of the night to do it anyway, lol). Have a great day, everyone who turns up later...

  21. Awwww little one picked a wacky time to be out and about in the late evening.

G'night Jan, sleep well and have sweet dreams, scritches and headbonks to HRH in the morning.

Hi ho, hi ho and off we go!
