  1. It's Christmas Day, in fact 5 minutes into Christmas and I'm whacking pomegranates on the bottom. What a way to bring in Christmas. Just a bit more whacking and I'm off to bed. We have a long day and two Christmas dinners ahead of us.
HRH is inside and lurking under the tree, her stocking is hung on the door knob ready for Santa to fill it with treats.
Deb, have a good evening at 'that place' and may visions of sugar plums dance in your head when you get home. Scritches to The Crew.
Nighty night all and Merry Christmas. Ho ho ho ho

  2. Merry Christmas, Deb, it is Christmas Day here now.

    Merry Christmas, one and all!

I am in the middle of wrapping pressies but thought I'd stop in after the stroke of midnight and wish everyone here a wonderful holiday and the Happiest of New Years.

Lol, MS, a Christmas bust, never mind, I expect you had even more fun that way! Whacking pomegranates' bums? Poor fruit, what have they ever done to you? I expect you'll be whipping cream next (groan)... Nighty-night, sleep well and sweet dreams.

Here is a silly joke for you all. What is better in a crisis than presence of mind? Absence of body.

Off to wrap a few more pressies. Spect I'll be back soonish...

  3. Jan, love the picture of whacking the pomengranate! Enjoy your Christmas Day and all the eats. Oh yeah and you need to start planning now how to tippy toe without getting caught. Hope that you have a wonderful day later on.

Jane, lol I do like the silly joke :) Seems like it should be slowing down in here, but hmm its not doing that so far, sigh.

I am so very tired, we are short-handed so no time to take off but will survive.

  4. Deb, so sorry you're tired and that you're so shorthanded, where would we be over Christmas without the essential workers like you who so kindly give up their holidays to look after the rest of us? Well, I have got the presents wrapped, little Libs is curled up on her chair in the living room, Millie is curled up on the duvet on the floor by the couch (though I hope she will come and cuddle with me), a whole year old today and not officially a kitten any more (though she's so tiny that I think I will always think of her as a kitten). And I am off to a hot shower and bed, I have a bit of a drive in front of me tomorrow before I can get to my Christmas dinner. Happy Holidays everyone, please keep safe, and Debs, Merry Christmas! please drive safely home and sleep well with sweet dreams until the Crew wake you up opening their Christmas stockings, lol. Nighty-night all!

  5. Pomegranates all whacked and tamed and it's beddy byes for me.
Deb, we thought we had it all planned, we were going to put their doorbell under the bed and take the other part with us(it's a cheap portable one) and when we had deposited the Santa pressies we were going to push the button. Now their door bell does NOT go ding dong, it makes the sound of a quality Ford car revving ! ! Brrrrmmmm brrrmmmmm. I would love to have been a fly on the wall to see what would have happened when we did that but alas it was not to be. There is always next year.
Keep your energy up Deb, not long on the shift left now.
Merry Christmas Jcat, have a wonderful day with your family. Give the kits a Christmas smooch from me please.
    Nighty night

  6. G'night ladies, sleep well and have sweet dreams of things to come and sugar plums, scritches and headbonks to HRH, Libs, and Millie....safe travels and enjoy the day. Now I would like the doorbell that sounded like that :)

  7. Jan, when you think about it, try and find out where Meegz and Andrew got their doorbell....I could deal with something that had a sound like an engine much more than the obnoxious ones we have here. The ones here go straight thru my brain deep into the last nerve in my body.
