  12. Chloe has been told since I knew of the arrival date. She mostly cocks her head sideways and stares at me. Changes have been in the making, slowly, to accomodate the introdcution as smoothly as possible. The hardest one has been getting Chloe to stay all night in my room... door closed. This is the reason I'm so exhausted... she generally wants out sometime in the night and rattles the door. I try to distract her, but have given up in the name of sleep. Last night she made it to 5:50 a.m. (this morning) before I let her out. The reason is that tonight, while she is in my room with me, Mili will put her scent throughout the rest of the house. Then in the morning, Mili will be 'quarantined' in her temporary area (1/2 bath) until the two are assured of being OK alone.

    When I left the house this morning, my parting words to Chloe were - "well, your little sister will be here tonight. You're going to be such a good big sister... have a good day baby girl". She's as prepared as she can be... LOL

  15. HM... Mili is not a tiny baby, Mili is almost a year old. Probably still lively though ! I have no point of reference... Chloe was 2 when she came to me.

  18. Yeah I know he'll be fine,I'm just glad it was done. I was SO nervous about dropping him off though.It was ridiculous.

  19. Ohhh..poor little Jasper kitty....He'll bounce back by tomorrow...you wait and see how quick..meantime the only way to ensure forgiveness is lots of good treats and scritches! lol
