  1. A steady stream of fresh baked cookies are emerging from the kitchen - every kind you can think of! There are carafs of milk on every table. There's also tea, Bailey's and lots of other beverages that go with cookies.

    PJ's are the recommended attire.

Of course, if you're not in the mood for cookies, lots of the usual noms are here, as well as hot and cold beverages that have an endless supply of your favorite bevvie. The buffet table is loaded with fresh fruit, yogurt, and fresh veggies with ranch dip.
    Welcome!

  4. Evening Deb, just popping in before heading off to bed after a long hot day. Yay, we had some sunshine and it was hot & muggy. At least the lawns are all mown.
We're losing miniKK back home tomorrow so we all got together for dinner this evening.
HRH is definitely NOT sleeping, she's out chasing crickets as usual or ying on the concrete soaking up the days heat.
    How was your day?

  5. Evening Jan, sounds like you had a more eventful day than I did. Good that the lawns are all mown, less to deal with later. Wishing miniKK a good trip back home tomorrow.

I did not much of anything today, vacuumed floors, washed a couple of loads of clothes and then just putzed around.

  6. Putzing sounds perfect to me after several very busy days.
Sorry to leave you alone in the NS office but at least the agency kitties are there for you. I'm off to bed now before I face plant on the keyboard.
Nighty night, sweet dreams and gentle headbonks for The Crew.

  8. Nighty-night, MS, sleep well. Evening, Deb. A tiring day today, trying to sort out funeral arrangements, so I do not think I will be here long. Are you hideously understaffed at "that place* tonight?

Posted 4 months ago by jcat #

  9. Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeecccccccchhh! Jcat! {{{hug}}} Evening, sorry this has to be a hug and run. Keep cuddling Libs & Millie and they'll help you through this difficult time.

    Posted 4 months ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  10. Thanks, MS. *Hugs right back.* I'm not here long either, very tired, but yes, keeping hold of the kitties whenever possible.

Posted 4 months ago by jcat #

  11. Evening Jane, those arrangements are always hard {{{hugs to all of you}}}. No, we actually have twice as many here tonight (6), so that is a good thing. Holding the girls is a good thing.

  12. That IS a good thing, Deb. Yes, Miss Millie has just draped herself over my shoulder, just keep those claws sheathed please, little girl...

  13. Nighty night, HRH is in and now I have to wake Mr Ms from his slumbers in the chair. (sigh)
    See you both later.

  14. Laters, MS. Sweet dreams.

  15. G'night Jan :)

Jane, would those claw covers help her any with keeping them from tearing your shoulders up?

Posted 4 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  16. {{{{Jcat}}}}

Sweet dreams on the other side of the world, MS.

Deb, thanks for the links, wonderful as always. Loved the kittens on Four Legs Good.

  17. Thanks, Kilroy. {{{Hugs back}}}
Deb, sadly, with CH kitties, you can't really clip their claws or use Soft Paws either (not that those are available here as far as I know). They rely on them too much to keep what little balance they have, and Millie couldn't climb onto the sofa or the bed or anything without digging them in. This is why my sofa is in the sad state of complete deconstruction that it is. But can I just say, Owwwwwwweeeeeeeeeee!

Posted 4 months ago by jcat #

  18. I thought of that after I typed it, knew that she used them for balance and to assist with the climbing.

    Morning Kilroy :)

  19. It's a conundrum, Deb. She would be a virtually perfect companion without the claw-y bits. If only we could replace them with Spiderman-type sticky suction web that she could shoot out of her paws... Off to bed now, nighty-night, sweet dreams Deb, when you get home. Have a great day, Kilroy :-)

  20. Wouldn't that be cool, Spidey webs!

G'night Jane, sleep well and have sweet dreams, hope that the day is good tomorrow for you and scritches for the girls in the morning.

  21. It is 05:31 A.M. MST...let the closing begin using a combo of closings gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger....good job everyone...

check lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift sign in window
check night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers
check cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box
Wipes tables and chairs, sweeps and mops all floors in chat-room, House dusted, swept, polished and vacuumed clean after all the family has traipsed through it, check windows left open for fresh cool breezes for the southern hemisphere TDKers and shut tight for the northern hemisphere TDKers.

Goodnight to all the imaginary friends in TDK land. May we have good memories of those who have went before us across the Bridge. White energy also being sent to those in need this day. >^..^<
