Quick funny cat story: I was getting ready for work this morning when I hear a loud crash/thump coming from either the living room or the kitchen. A few seconds later, in streaks the little black fluffball, who has a guilty look on her face that means she knows she's in trouble. She proceeds to hide in the bedroom.
I go into the living room to find that she and probably Snake had knocked the Xbox off the shelf — though given what I had heard while in the bedroom, I was expecting it to be a lot worse.

Yes, the moment Pipa chucks something from a table... she zooms out of sight... literally just a flash of fur. The bigger the object the blurrier the flash gets!

Thanks for the Terri bulletin..I was wondering where she went to...catherine, I think Spook has been framed..Surely she would never do something like that..hey didn't you get her for Valentines Day? that would me tomorrow will be your 1st anniversary..Thats it she was trying to make her mommy a anniversay present and couldn't reach what she needed....awwwwww..

Good morning or afternoon everyone. Catherine I am sorry you are having a rough time at work. I totally understand that what with my being an admin.
Mia was being a pain again last night. She jumped up and got to the top of the bookcase. I had to grab her off it, gave her a slight shake and locked her in the bedroom for 1/2 hour. I was feeling very sad about her and several other things last night and cried myself to sleep. This morning she wouldn't stay off the kitchen counters and I had to keep spraying her with the squirt bottle. She was drenched by the time I was done in the kitchen. Poor kitty. She is definitely not happy with me. I am concerned that I am going to make her a parnoid kitty. So with that said, I will have what Cheri is having...extra crispy bacon, french toast, and hot chocolate with Bailey's and whipped cream. Heavy on the baileys, please. Also, could I borrow 120 as I could use a purring cuddle kitty right now.

I'm sorry SMM that your having trouble with Mia. If it makes you feel any better I'm having the same problem with Spider & the counter. I don't bother with the spray bottle anymore cuz it doesn't do any good either. The poor guy spends more time hearing No Spider & spending time in the bedroom as well. It shows you how much trouble & how determined he is to undermine the rules. He's in the bedroom more than he's out. I hope Mia starts listening to you.
BTW...GD told me to tell you all HI. I told her when she was able to come back & visit,that she was in for a surprise & left it at that. I can't wait till she see's the thread here for her. And her curiosity is probably at,excuse the term, kill a cat stage.

She is not going to be a paranoid kitty, SMM. :)
Misto has gone about causing the same kind of trouble, she would get really stubborn and have that "I'm going to do what I dang well please" attitude and we would go to war for a while, it's just the way they are when they are young.
She will learn that there are some lines you don't cross, and every once in a while she will push her limits. Just take it in stride and she will get over it. :)

I love the picture of Rattlesnake sleeping with someone. It is so cute. Yes, I was reminding myself as I was getting ready for work this morning that I went through a time when Sylvester was trying my patience. It was just that Sylvester paid more attention to the word "NO" when it was said to him and it would stop him from what he was doing. Also, at my old place I never saw him up on the counter. He did hop up last weekend in the current place just to see how I would handle it. I picked him up and said no and put him down. I just have a lot on my plate and it is a broken record with me. It will get better..eventually...hopefully.
